I would say that's fairly typical of what we play with, it's usually pretty difficult to get a hard ARO piece in a showstopper position that can safely defend all or most of your DZ without being dealt with. Most of our players tend to pack enough disposable and soft ARO pieces with repeater coverage that trying to punch into a DZ in one turn is usually pretty unlikely outside of drop troops or rolling for infiltration. EDIT: Actually found the game in question that picture was attached to. It was from the thread testing the hulang.
n3 ikol works when you use cc or dodge. But if NBW requires to use cc then para ccw -6 is real good against nwb. Not only you cheat during first ftf but after they get immobile you can start using your full power with skills. Edit: NWB requires only b2b but cancelling mode works only if enemy declare attack. Technically if i dodge and use ikohl then nbw cant cancell it :0
It feels like playing any amount of HI vs. Nomads is going to be an uphill battle. Pitchers were mentioned but my concern is their deployable repeaters. They can Oblivion a whole force just in ARO. Zeroes, Spektr, Bandits, Moran are Infiltrating Deployable or ARE repeaters. Meteor Zond, Hellcat, Tomcat are AD with Deployable repeaters. Jazz, Tsyklon have Pitchers.
Yes. This is it. And frankly, this is what's happened to me a few times in N3. Still, if all HI gets the discount that Evaders and Domaru seem to get (remember that N3 Domaru had Frenzy which hides just how much cheaper they truly got), then I don't think that's going to be enough.
Got a few pictures with info from my local Warcor that may or may not be relevant to the current discussion; Seems Assisted Fire is limited to Marksmanship only (i.e. Shock component seems to be gone) Total Control seems (at least on the Hcking Chart) to flip a possessed TAG back to Normal state Zero Pain is B2 in ARO and nullifies Comms Attacks (so expanded to Jammers and a few others as well) You can also affect Strategos 2 if you are the first turn player; i.e. hold back one extra trooper in reserve It seems you can't use a Command Token to activate Fairy Dust (or similar) on an EVO
That's a good change IMO, too much damn shock around as it was. Eh, so how do we possess the TAG in the first place then? What's Zero Pain again and what's it on?
Same program, it's essentially N3 Total Control and Exorcism rolled into one program, like how Assisted Jump and HTA are now the same program.
Question being can it nullify as a normal roll to defend someone else, or does it need to be face to face?
This. It's not on any of the devices natively. I'm personally assuming we'll see it in stuff that had White HDs in N3
Dunno, haven't seen a picture. If that's true though and some of the more ballbusting hacks work on HI then there's less functional drawbacks to being HI, in fact having the higher BTS scores actually makes it a benefit.
Ok I found the picture. Seems like we were worried for nothing, unless you happen to use the Avatar. Oblivion targets HI, REM, and TAG now.
