Actually, I was imagining it as an orphan (the demogrant and regimented are the result of having lost his parents because of the youth event), who was sent to the desert to a pilgrimage/study by his mentor, save the person who will take him under his wing, became a doctor(can only do good thinghs, right? he was very naive). Then the old mentor, probably envious of the new patron, helps him getting into high-end/secret/military medical research. Such was his talent that (choices): - the mentor(who works for the assassins?) "convinced" him becoming a Khawarij to help in the black-ops. He was fired for disobeying the order of a superior and helping wounded enemy civilians during a raid gone wrong. He got recruited into the Minotaurs thanks to the interventions of both his mentor and patron(who have influence into the merc company); - during a research on some kind of officially banned experiment/procedure, he was exposed to some kind of substance that had a similar effect of the Runihura. This led, after his recovering, to be banished from Buorak and being recruited into the Minotaur Brigade to further Haqqislam's interests. The Khawarij and renegade part was inspired by your post earlier.
@stevenart74 I've managed to get through the character creation process, like you told me in the PM, trying to make a good starting point for further adjustment / brainstorming. The core idea is one of the original "new Tohaa allies of the Human Sphere" as per fluff, who arrived to help humanity in fighting the EI / Shas. He's been specifically trained as a special forces / void combat specialist kinda guy, proper military lifestyle, had quite a lot of experience in this, but then the most recent events happened, main Tohaa forces withdrew and it turned out his handlers weren't there anymore. So he started drifting through the human society, taking odd mercenary jobs here and there, picking up more human languages than the initial English he quickly learned and became really interested in the excess variety of human culture, especially the stark difference between the Triad social unit of the Tohaa and human individualism. Still, he's a soldier first and foremost, a kind of a tough combat medic. His extreme resilience to biotech weapons and environments was an asset, he could've gone places and fought forces others could not. He ended up with the Minotaurs mostly because he's become intrigued by the idea of "righteous ownership" of Tesseum. Such a human idea. But, they also pay well. Here's the character sheet. Done, picked the "Field Dressing" Medicine Talent, works well for his intended role and gives space for development with XP. I'm supposed to have a "Medium Armour set" from the military training path. I thought that for a SpecOps character the Sukeul variant of a Symbiont could be great. Give him the equivalence of Mimetism, Stealth, Multiterrain. Maybe an unjammable comms set ("Veteran L1") of some Tohaa biotech origin? Willpower / Discipline bonus ("V: Courage")? Nothing broken, but a decisive shape for his combat ability.
There's a couple of Symbiont Armours in the core book. Pp 342-343 of the Core Book. Adding ODD / Chameleonware onto that would get what you want. Stealth and Multiterrain are largely achieved by the Stealth and Athletics skills. If you wanted an armour that could buff them you could add an Expert system (well 2 separate ones). The Sakiel Symbiote armour already functionally adds a Courage effect while wearing it. The rules for all those mods already exist in the Core rulebook and the Armour rules already provide, albeit poorly defined, scope for customising armour. The problem, as I see it, with all if that is it raises the combat power of our little group significantly. The easiest solution is a straight swap of your Medium Armour for Sakiel Armour. It'll work *very* well for what you want, but is a little less high powered. I'm jumping in before Steven answers because one of the issues with the previous attempt at this was balancing all the weird and wonderful ideas took a lot of effort so we never really got going with the story. My distinct preference is to play a simpler and more 'off the shelf' game. Using our Assets to purchase any upgrades we want (using the system I linked) allows us the freedom to customise our characters a little without going overboard. The Infinity RPG already has A LOT of subtly different options.
I hope that CB & Modiphus get the rest of the faction books & character generator up soon. That way we won't have to custom rule species or careers when creating our PC's.

Have to check MANY things to see if this is anyway possible. . . As a VERY rough "Rule of Thumb" ANY of You could scour the Web for the OLD "Cyberpunk2020" Rules (that 20 Years ago created the Infinity Universe for a "Custom Crossover" of Starwars+Cyberpunk for Gutier Lusquinos and the other "Core Corvus Belli" of Spain). . . 1 "Eurobuck" (E$ or "Euro-Dollar" the value o credit in Infinity) would equate to a SINGLE "Minotaur Coin". . . NOT a "Frothing Berserker" swinging a Teseum Claymore (quite banal, trite Archetype from the Wargame) but rather a "Wilderness Scout & Local Guide" decisively VITAL for the other Characters that are YES very powerful Elites, ranging from all corners of the Human Sphere & Beyond, BUT are NOT accustomed to Ariadnan Wilderness. . .!! An Teseum Hatchet & Caledonian Dirk (both good for Throwing) could be far more apt as Melee Weapons. . . As for Guns, a Mk2 "Antitank Sniper Rifle" (that our character use NOT ONLY to kill "Teseum Raiders" TAG, but rather Antipode Chieftains !!!) could be a good definition. . . Other details to be discussed at will. . . . .

What about, by being a Bakunin Vaudevillers, just some minor tweaking and have Him as a "Pupnik Handler"??? Not a FULL FLEDGED Chimera Uberfallkommando (UNLESS this will be amusing for YOU to play), but rather someone hailing from EITHER the Morlock Gangs (maybe a "Pit Fight" Trainer of Gladiator Game Beasts) or a "K9 Cop" for the Moderators. . . . .!!! The Drones would be useful, but for Long Range Patrols on the Ariadnan Borders, some ORGANIC "Drones" (maybe with "Limited" Regeneration, helped by the Khawarji Field Doctor and the Tohaa "Commando Paramedic") would be BETTER. . . . . . . . If You want to NOT LOSE the "Hi-Tech Edge" of Your Character we could say that the CHARACTER and the Pupniks are HEAVILY cybernetized (as suggested by Section 9 forumite, Corregidorans specialize in "Cheap Combat Drugs / Cheap Gene-Mods", Tunguskan in ADVANCED Cybernetics while Bakunin BLEND SEAMELESSLY both !!!). . . . . . . . Was reading the Merc Book and see many interesting "Combat Drugs" that are RATHER dangerous for Player Character to use as they will COUNTERBALANCE "Big Powaz NOW" with "Aftershock Seizures" quite severe. . . To PERHAPS explore the "Tohaa Symbiowarrior" aspect of Your Character could have to CREATE handmade Rules about administering the Drugs TO THE SYMBIOSUIT (the "Neon Coloured" Second Layer of Muscles that is under "Armourplates / Light Uniform") to have the GOOD effect during a battle, BUT the "After-Effect" are MOSTLY (as Symbioarmour "Draw Blood" from the wearer) on the "Muscle Suit". . . AT WORST You will have to "Peel Off" the "Musclesuit", "Roll It" as a Tarpaulin and let it "Cooldown" on a Hydroponic Tank (size and shape like the "Head Tube" of Cube-Jagers) while You soldier-on as one of the Non-Symbio Tohaa Troopers. . . . . . . . Rather EXTREME and We need to carefully "Game-Balance" it, but is an idea "Built Upon" pre-extant Official Game Material; after all the Tohaa "Masters of Biotech" were doing 1.000 Years AGO, what the Bakunites Praxis Black-Labs and the Haqqislamite Gene-Doctors BARELY achieved in 100 Years of experimenting. . . . . .!!! . . . . . Was thinking ALSO to have Your character 1 or 2 "Tohaa Symbios" (of the "Pokemon" variety) or even better a "Feral Symbiobeast" ("Surda" the version without Guns, rather than Gunmount-Wielding "Mutan" but YOU choose); optimized to COMBAT the Ariadnan Antipodes on their own turf following You. . .!! . . . . . Was thinking that AS ARIADNAN MERCS all the Characters would use "Vintage 21th Century Guns" (to lessen problems with lines of Supply and, during/after Battle with "Local Submondo Thugs" the "Refill-Topping" of spent Reloads !!); but it will be EXOTIC AMMO the mainstay of Elite Mercs drawing from "Supply Coffers" of NOT ONLY Planet Dawn, but Mothership + Bourak + "Renegade Alien Labs". . . So You could have a "Combishotgun" of the Ariadnan Version; a Cal.12/.00 "Boarding Shotgun" of the Ariadnan Kind (imagine an USAS12 / Daewoo "C.A.W.S." but with Wooden Stocks e Barrel-Cover, stright clip of 15-30 Shotgun Slugs) with mounted underneath a SINGLESHOT "M203" 40mm. Grenade Launcher. . . Maybe instead of a "Pious Masked Imam-Warrior" idea of Wargame Trooper then You could take inspiration from the COMIC Version of Tarik Mansuri (drawn by the Spanish humorous comic "Yasbir" artist); a "Captain America" kind of Supersoldier that is ANYWAY a Lecherous Womanizer and an "Omar Sharif / Oded Fehr" Playboy Middle-Eastern Gentleman-Seducer. . .!! . . . . . An important "Logistical Issue" of Red Turban Khawarjis is the they are NOT ONLY Quran Teachers AND Gene-Enhanced Supersoldiers; they are ALSO Frontline OFFICERS; this, coupled with Your "Bourak-Given M.D. Degree" make Your character the EQUIVALENT of a "ArmY Medic Officer, Rank between Lieutenant / Captain / Major". . . Would You like to be "Squad Commanding Officer" for the purposes of "Mercenary Organization Logistics". . . . .??? . . . . . Another issue of "Squad Logistics". . .!! He's very different. Ric started out on Lazaretto, joined the NMF to escape a life in the Maras. Left under a cloud. Started a second career as a bodyguard, which has him leading a squad of investigators through the Paradiso. It's interesting, because he's growing into a tactics / command role which is stretching him. He's actually designed as an Wildcat Assault Hacker: so he's supposed to be shooting things and occasionally Hacking things, while leveraging substantially augmentations. He ended up controlling the REMs because I was across the mechanics involved, not because he necessarily made the most sense as the teams Rigger. It meant that I worked out a bit about REMs: tl;dr they're really really good. He's also something of a bigoted dick. <Character Name Here> OTOH started life on a Commercial Mission and well off. But he was a rebellious kid who got himself in trouble when his family move to Bakunin. He got involved in a Hacking sub-culture where he did something bad enough to get sentenced to serve 2 years as a Morlock. He struggled through those. Now he works as a Combat REM pilot. He's squishy AF, and definitely isn't designed to be a front line fighter. He's also supposed to be friendlier and more personable but less of a leader. Mechanically, he doubles down on supporting REMs in a way Ric simply doesn't: he's designed to explore what Ric is doing by accident. In Infinity terms he's an Ex-Morlock Spec Ops with a Hacking Device. The similarity is they're both Nomad Hackers who are in a small combat team and enable REMs.

On the Ariadnan zones of Planet Dawn, between the "Freak Legions" of the Minotaurs, this is even MORE pronounced!! Maybe You start in the Hangar near the Barracks by "Acquiring" some old, dilapidated Haqqislamite Drone (like the earlier versions of the "Fanous" remote!), then apply "Spit'N'polish" and LIBERAL "Torch-Welding" and start to apply a NEWER "Semiremote Antenna" custom-slaved to YOUR Comlog (ONLY! You would probably jealous of YOUR "Precioussss!!"), some Extra-Armour Plating of Low% Teseum Alloys and maybe a "Lightened" Version of the Huragan MRL. . .!! . . . . . So You would be the "Frankenstein Doctor" but for Remotes. . .!! . . . . . Did not read was a Morlock! Very interesting Character!! Would You consider some "Metachemistry Dermopatches" from the Merc Handbook (had NO time to still read the Nomad Handbook, will do soon !!!) as "Last Emergency Stopgap". . .?? . . . . . Morlocks as a rule LOVES Close-Combat VICIOUS Guns (like all Human Sphere "Warbanders" !!). . . Would You like to mount a Light Flamer underneath Your combirifle. . .? or a Chain-Colt?? Or maybe a "Side Combi-Longarm" like one PREFERRED by the Minotaurs "Freaks": a Chainrifle with a Grenade Launcher M203 Tube miunted underneath. . .???
I can swap the Combi for a Fuegor because Morlocks are part of the NMF. So I was going to do that. I looked at the Metachem options, but I'm not fussed. In terms of augmentations I'm really only thinking some neural stuff. I can probably pay for those out of assets.
