So I'm playing in a 3 mission tourney with Firefight, Supplies, & Capture and Protect. I figure I can group Firefight and Supplies into one list but do something a bit tricky with it.

So I've built a list where I can modifiy which link I focus on based on what army I'm playing against for my first two missions.

the concept is that I have a Keistosu Core and a HI Haris for hacking heavy armies (Nomads, ALEPH, etc.) but then switch to a full HI Core fireteam if it's not hacking heavy. Ideally, this gives me more utilization against specific armies but I'm worried that I I'm dipping my toes into two different strategies and not actually supporting one strategy as fully as I should.

Looking for feedback for the concept more so than the actual list, but here's a sample list I was thinking:

    Quick comments:
    - one person in second group in 95% of cases will not work - not enough of orders to do anything and your first group will lose 2 orders Turn 1 (your opponent will know that you have 2 combat groups)
    - Keisotsu Paramedic -> count as spec but otherwise almost useless (you more often will be killing your own unit than healing them), as specialists FO profile is much better, for healing "regural" doctor + helperbot is better (and not much more expensive) and you still have 5pts left

I would probably try to go with only one combat group and try to add some more durability (Karakuri)

    maybe something like this:

DOMARU (Fireteam: Haris) Chain Rifle, E/M Grenades / Pistol, E/M CCW, Shock CC Weapon. (0.5 | 27)
    KARAKURI Mk12, Chain Rifle, D.E.P. / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 43)
    KARAKURI Heavy Shotgun, Chain Rifle, D.E.P. / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 38)
    DOMARU Spitfire / Pistol, E/M CCW, Shock CC Weapon. (2 | 39)
OYAMA Lieutenant Chain Rifle, E/M Grenades / Breaker Pistol, AP CCW, EXP CCW. (0 | 28)
TANKŌ Missile Launcher / Pistol, Monofilament CC Weapon, Shock CC Weapon. (1.5 | 32)
TANKŌ Blitzen, Light Shotgun / Pistol, Monofilament CC Weapon, Shock CC Weapon. (0 | 23)
TANKŌ Flammenspeer, Contender / Pistol, Monofilament CC Weapon, Shock CC Weapon. (0 | 23)

You really should go down to one combat group or up to 13+ orders. 11 is just putting yourself at a disadvantage if going first, and Shinobu can't do much with 1 order.

I would really commit to one core or the other here. While conceptually, switching cores is interesting, you are better off bringing an HI list with the tools to support it against hacking (Keisotsu HD for Fairy Dust, Ninja or Aragoto KHD) than to bring a list that can't support them and still be relying on hackables to do most of your work.

In addition to the "never run 11 orders" advice, in general, Shinobu should always be in your big combat group. If you get a good Superior Infiltration position, she can eat most of the opposing army, but will need a LOT of orders to do it.
