Right, but I think that communication in Infinity is handled in a different manner, such that this old fashioned approach would not work. Also IRL I think you'll have trouble flooding _all_ the bands, at least without having a massive power supply. Jammers irl usually attack communications that occurs on a fixed frequency, and rely on the transmitter being very far away, two things I don't think we can assume about Infinity communications. IDK, I was just mentioning where I think most people are coming from when they ask for this. Read back through this thread, and see how many times he's failed to read and understand things. Not sure why that is, but if you cannot communicate, you cannot communicate.
Recent conversation I had in regards to Tarik apparently being a Wildcard "Hey, is your body ready for my Tarik in a core link team?" "If this is the price I pay to never see another goddamn Ghazi in our games again I will gladly suffer your FAT2 horseshit oversized manchild in a core link." That's my opinion on Ghazi. Bring on RTF and the end of Ghazi in my games.
Lol. This made me chuckle. @Mahtamori. My biggest issue with Jammers is that they screw over Hacking with no risk. Comms Equipment solves that. The strength of KHDs at the moment mitigates a lot of the issues Hacking causes to HI (although I do think that should be smoothed). Giving AHDs/HDs another protective function I think would be useful. Also, you mean Oblivion not Blackout. I think this balances Hecklers and Zulus. For Mutts I'd just lose the EMarat on the Jammer profile. This makes Stealth HI an effective counter to them. The other option is making Jammers and Oblivion do ISO-1 (no turn limit) so it's possible to Reset out of. But in Tunguska at least I'd argue that would need balancing (0 SWC Heckler Minelayers Cybermines on a couple of Heckler profiles could work). Third option would be to flip the O.5 SWC for Daylami Panzerfausts (not the Inferior Infil version) with the Chain Rifle Gazi. It'd work to stop 4 Gazi being an auto include. The more I think about it, this + the Comms Equipment change is probably sufficient.
Others have said it better. In case you need help finding the relevant posts, read this and this. I forgot to add these earlier, but I also said I'd leave the conversation. Feel free to ignore my posts, as usual. I'm out.
Common mistake :) Which, just like the solution "just use veterans" is not a good one due to availability of these types of units. Nor is it a very good solution if the Haqq/Nomad/PanO player uses their Jammers intelligently. With just a modicum of decent gameplay, they move from being an obstacle to effectively shutting access to large areas of the board down. Seriously, the E/Marat isn't much of an issue. It's fine. Par for course, even. Removing it won't shift the Mutta much.
