Defeat? What defeat? You cant win or lose when you are not fighting. You are so far from reality, in your golden palace, judging everyone else, that dont realise that you are exactly like me, or worse, at least i dont spam "look how smart i am, i'm better than you, believe me"
I think you two should just block each other already. Or at least take it to DMs. On-topic: The Tanuki's price point compared to the old Kempei CoC might mean they're in for a point drop, which would be very nice for both Vanilla and Oban. Opens up some points to take more/better Ninjas and Cyber-Samurai.
I prefer to see it as an hommage This is the point. Its not an engi, its an SO with that can do more than push a button. Its like a sidegrade. He can do Objectives, COs and try to patch some things up. I would like to see more of this hybrid profiles.
It's a shame he cant reliabily repair his FT companions (karakuri, ruishi, mechazoid) but a warhorse hacker for that points is a bargain. And is veteran troop, so he can do even more secondary objectives
This is an interesting twist - adding bonuses to TAG's with a support unit that sits on the table. They're not even that bad for the price, both specialists with either some added tools. LI, but not useless. And a TAG dodging on 14's is tempting!
But will the standard TAG pilot provided with the TAG have also this profile and bonuses? If yes, does it make sense to bring an additional pilot to the table? Not sure what to think. On the other hand, 11 points is still quite cheap for a cheerleader with CC abilities, giving a nice little bonus to TAGs, that can act like a secondary specialist and can jump in an empty TAG if its pilot gets killed. We need the full N5 picture to understand why these profiles are now a thing.
Kinda like Rem-Racers... but for TAGs...? Will be more of them? with different bonuses...? The 12pts looks interesting, provides bonuses and have Gizmokit for Tag-repairs. I guess pilots inside tags will remain more or less the same as now and will not prove any additional bonuses, but I'll be more than happy to be wrong about that.
They're labeled as pilots od specific kinds of tags which is weird for a buff to all tags in that combat group, so I wonder if there's something lost in translation or if they were changed from specific pilots to group buffs but they didn't change the names.
Yay the calling of a specific TAG in their name is odd, but tbf it isn't the weirdest thing we got so far in these N5 previews.
I think the specific name is supposed to be their background. The first one used to be Mechazoid pilot and the second one used be an O-Yoroi pilot. But it would have been more interesting if they also gave different bonuses.
