Surprise Attack is in CodeOne already, and is whatever is listed on the unit's profile for both shooting and CC.
The domaru profile was presented in today video. So that is something we can work with. I saw some of the other profiles and there were cranes without MA so I wouldn't bet on these. The 25th will be a very exciting day!
So you did see the changes for Musashi and Oniwaban, where the hell are all the pictures people should have been taking right... So that new Umbra is better at CC than Musashi and Oniwaban? The dude get MA 4 and +1 B in CC which means that +1 B can't be countered by NBW... I had there'd be more protection for JSA's most elite CC units. You sure you didn't see +1 B for them?
See the big red box on https://infinitythewiki.com/index.php?title=Skills_and_Equipment_in_Infinity I strongly suggest having a look at CodeOne, if you're not prepared to wait for N4 to discuss rules.
General modifier rules: https://infinitythewiki.com/index.php?title=Skills_and_Equipment_in_Infinity Martial Arts explicitly calls out thatit works in ARO. It's also possible that NBW removes all positive MODs to CC attacks which would stop Nourikas' +1 B, we haven't seen it's N4 incarnation yet.
Alright, if there are no changes, and others have only speculated then yes I will read the whole thing. But at this point isn't it moot. And I'm mostly more concerned about individual profiles, which is understandable...
If the leaks are to be believed Domaru's biggest indirect buff is Asuka found herself a Smoke Grenade Launcher. More reliable smoke is gonna help them get where they gotta go.
Eh... I don't think it's entirely sane/sanitary to link directly to 4chan, even if it is merely /tg/, but that's where you can find them if you want to dig into this stuff yourself. Just remember that the database is old and out of date so take it with a bunch of salt and don't get hung up on details ;)
Can't say I blame them. This will cause damage to their release, regardless if it is true, false, positive or negative.
Eh tbh this is table top wargaming, it's a different animal to video games and other media. They could send everything live right this instant and it wouldn't make a difference to them assuming it's all ready to go. People are into this game for the long haul because table top gaming requires investment and commitment.
Let's not get into a discussion about economics, but I'm fairly sure it actually makes a bunch of difference. Particularly when you want people to be in it for the long haul you don't want to give the impression of providing sub-par products. (Video games don't want to release early because it's too common for some critical pieces of code that are vitally important to the game to function at all (and f.ex. not burn your customer's hard drive in a very literal way) usually comes in real hot at the end of months long crunches that causes people to need therapy afterwards) Edit: or if you do, maybe start a thread in Caravansary or Human Sphere to increase chance of getting answers from people who actually knows these things or who have run sales data on what happens when unfinished IPs are leaked?
Kuroshi Rider has smoke LGL on the bike, as well as a +3" dodge. But again, everything could be placeholders.
I'm working under the assumption that this shit is actually finished and they're not rushing it to the last minute to go live on Friday. I'd be a bit concerned if they haven't got their profiles and stuff sorted out by now.
