In the iOS app it looks like karakuri get the gizmokit and from the rules it doesn’t appear to need the engineer skill to use. If this is intentional, a Haris karakuri team can heal each other while murdering everything. Combined with the extra str, these guys have quite the buff.
"Gizmokit (PH=12)" indicates that they roll against BS12 when hit by another trooper's Gizmokit, they do not possess one themselves.
Oyama, Daiyokai, FO looks pretty good to me. Haris with 5 useable orders (Tac Aware from Oyama and NCO on Daiyokai).
Even up to 6 orders when the spitfire lt2 domaru is somewhere on the board. Talking about orderefficince. An 5 orders in a duo. Daiyokai might find its way in a lot of my lists.
It's got a special extra rule that says "In addition, if the owner of this Special Skill belongs to a Fireteam and is designated as the Team Leader, this Order can be used to activate the Fireteam"
The gizmokit is listed under karakuri as equipment, while the o-yoroi lists it as a skill, that’s what I’m basing it on
That would technically be a bug because there's no Gizmokit skill. I based my answer on the last bullet point of the Gizmokit rules:
Time to report it in bugs so CB can tell us what they mean. Having looked at a few TAG profiles now, the one’s I’ve checked list gizmokit under skill, like the o-yoroi. The karakuri are the only one I’ve seen to have it as equipment, besides engineers. That final bullet point doesn’t negate having it as equipment and having it used on them, it only states that the bracketed PH value is used. Doesn’t mean it’s not a bug, especially with how strong it could be, but it could very well be intentional. Hopefully we find out soon.
Why would the gizmokit on karakuris be a bug because it is listed under equippment? I think it is like: Listed under equipment: you have the gizmokit, and everything in brackets applys Listed under skill: you do not have the gizmokit itself, but if one is used on you the brackets apply.
Use the Multi Marksman Rifle for Heavy Targets that are usually not getting B2 in ARO except the handful like the Daiyokai himself.
Since dual wield doesn’t appear to be a thing anymore, Neko having 2 distinct CC weapons, means he just selects which one he wants to use any time he makes a CC attack, correct? Contrast this with Musashi who has a single AP+EXP weapon whereas before they both had dual wield and AP and EXP weapons.
Presumably they figured that the AP+EXP combo was better represented in N4 with DA, and the option of E/M.
Are Karakuris immune to Para Amunition? So they can't get Immobilized by them? Are they immune to FO as well? Because in the trait it says: State:Targeted and Immunity makes you ignore that?
Sad face. Figured it was too good! I was just imagining a Haris of 3 Karakuris moving up the table and stopping every few minutes to fix each other up.
