Hey guys, Just wondering, what kind of spec ops do you use in dahshat? I never use brawlers (my defensive core is just ghulam) and I find myself asking if I should do this crazy idea... CC16 MA3 Exp weapon Aerial infiltration. Crazy enough? Haha
I think Airborne Infiltration is a quite good use of a Spec-Op's talents, though I'd tend toward the Red Fury or Light Rocket Launcher for that particular use. The combination of Red Fury/LRL + Rifle + Light Shotgun is quite a versatile set of weapons to bring in on a table edge, and not something people will be expecting from Dahshat. If you want to go for something linkable, a Red Fury + Mimetism Spec-Ops will do quite well in a Brawler Haris, either with a Doctor or even a basic Bounty Hunter as the last member. You might also consider an elite Hacker with WIP15 and BTS6, which can really help anchor an otherwise middling hacking presence and combos very well with the amount of repeaters available. Or you could always go for the fairly standard "super specialist" doctor + engineer + hacker, but I don't think it's as vital as in some other factions.
I'm with @KestrelM1 , airborne deployment with a LRL or Red Fury is my favorite way to go. I have considered AD with a deployable repeater for shenanigans though. Dropping a repeater next to an enemy remote or TAG can lead to some LOLs.
my echo bravo redfury is always very successful at killing ppl, so having a AD redfury for only 17 pts is a no brainer for me I will try this ! thx for pointing that out I wasn't paying attention at this option
