So all NA2 Spec-Ops get the same tables for their skills and equipment. This is fine for those that use the Brawler as base profile, but why for JSA and Spiral as well? I think it would be much better if JSA uses the Yu Jing tables and Spiral Corps the Tohaa tables. What do you think?
Spiral Corps are a human faction, however, not a Tohaa faction, so it makes about equal sense for them to use Tohaa as NA2. Yu Jing table was clearly designed with JSA in mind, however.
The problem is that the "trusted operative" is not human in Spiral, but a Taagma. If the Specops were a Brawler, I would say the table was OK, but for a Taagma... To be fair, they should have a "Taagma mixed with NA2" table, but for simplicity the Tohaa makes, for me, more sense. As for YJ, yeah. The JSA specops should have that one, and YJ either keep that, or get an exclusive one.
I think this has to be a mistake because why would yu jing be able to choose a cube for a specop when both avalaible specops already have a cube. I guess this is just another copy and paste error from the old campaign paradiso book, which sadly are really numerous.
To be perfectly honest, the NA2 table isn't too much of a deviation from what's already in JSA. They're missing Dual Wield, but on the other hand NBW shouldn't be there. They could equally "fix" the situation simply adding Cube to the NA2 table and then replacing all JSA-oriented options with more uniquely Yu Jing stuff. I.e. replace the following: Blitzen, MA4, Super-Jump, and above mentioned Cube. My suggestions for replacement stuff are: MA3, Tactical Awareness,or Automedikit, and that's not trolling. Automedikit seriously needs an overhaul, though, either to be very cheap or at very least to be automatic at start of turn and/or CT-enabled. Also, I don't see why Sapper, Veteran, and 360 visor are part of Yu Jing list. Sapper for everyone makes less sense than Forward Observer, the latter which I think no one has. Sensor or X-Visor makes more sense for Yu Jing than 360 visor. P.s. it's also funny how NA2 and Ariadna has Airborne Infiltration, but Nomads don't even get that in spite of being the premier Airborne Deployment faction
With only 16% humans? But with JSA this is just completely wrong weird.
Ah, okay, thanks for the link. Not actually a rule but a ruling (FAQ/solved question). But this just means that human IMP-2 works against them as there are humans in that faction. Still, their Spec-Ops is a Tohaa, not a human/Brawler.
