Well, expect to see me paint a lot more of these. I got this to showcase to the community, and it is a gift to our local JSA player. I ordered my own box from the LGS to include in my Ikari (as I'm going to go that route instead of druze), and I have a commission set up for a third set this summer.

I thought while I'm painting that Haqq, I would post some pictures that are oldie goldies. I retook the photos with my new photo box.

Here is my acontecimento force. I painted it about a year and a bit ago (I think). I just recently sold it. There are some unpainted models in there that I need to paint before I ship it off to the client, mainly an hmg baghmari, Toni, and a squalo I use as a dragoēs.

Here are my morats. I painted some of these a long time ago and I'm currently in the process of selling them as I want to reinvest in bare pewter Morats and try another scheme. Note: the red rodoks are my counts as Rasyats until the new ones come out.

Just a quick update. A client of mine wanted me to do this for him. It's killing me a little inside.

It's still very much a work in progress. There are like four american flags on it. I was trying to free hand "freedom" and "patriot" on the shoulder pads... but my free hand isn't that good. Lol.

I told the client that the only way I could make it more patriotic is if it was armed with a gun called the Amendment Mk.II, that shot screaming bald eagles.

Shooting bald eagles is a federal crime. It doesn't matter how loud they scream. You'll still go to jail. ^^).

Over 9,000, if you ask me.

But what if they were shot out of your gun for purposes of liberation?

A fairly productive weekend. Unfortunately I discovered the video game "Mordheim: City of the Damned"... and well... I'm pretty deep into the burgomeister's pockets. I still managed to finish (but not base) my client's new blackjack and get started on his Candy HVT. Rosie is assembled but not started yet. Candy is still a wip - this is just the basecoat.

Also.. normally I don't post unpainted models in here, but I have a client who wants to get into infinity, and knows I bought a ton of NIB nomads from a dude who bought like 3 Icestorm starters and didn't realize there isn't a lot of redundancy in infinity (unlike other wargames where two starters will get you a full playable army). So, he sent me the list he wants to play, and I did some clever conversion to make it work. Here is his intruders (sniper, hacker and HMG).

Anyway.. lemme know what you think in the comments!

    I see Vallejo mud effects.
I love the color scheme that you choose for them. I'll try to do something similar with the paints I currently have.

Yeah. It's really effective I find for a good looking earthy type base.

Agreed. I have the black mud effects and they work great on bases. Really does wonders on making them visually pop.

I managed to squeeze in a few combined models in between competing commissions. I hope you like them.

We use a different kind of screaming eagles for purposes of liberation. We drop them out of aircraft.
They're only AD level 1 though. :umbrella:

Considering the size of your average bald eagle, you would need a cannon instead of a rifle. They are large birds.

I like your color scheme for the CA much better than the *official* studio version.

Thanks guys. I still need to add some gore/blood splatter (you'll note the copious amount on my other combined models). It was pointed out to me this morning that I should try to remain consistent.
