Though it is understandable for nerves to be frayed at a time such as this, the key issue at hand, as I feel we all should agree on, is that of Spiral Corps. And though my earlier statements do not perhaps put PanOceania in the best possible light, the comments were made as to represent the current state of concerns amongst our numbers given their prior business with Spiral Corps. It cannot surely come as a surprise that recent events have resulted in.. *significant* concerns regarding the security and integrity of PanOceania given that the matter has yet to be truly settled as to what extent lack of due diligence or collusion within their ranks was involved in the choice to employ them, much less what actions are being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. Of course, I do understand the need to maintain a calm and collected approach, but such concerns cannot simply be ignored outright and I am sure that I speak on behalf of the committee when I say that we would be happy to discuss ways in which said concerns might be alleviated.
Admiral Phillip von Kruse, while I agree with your sentiments regarding Spiral Corps and the questions that have arisen regarding their work for PanOceania, those same questions can be leveled against the Tohaa for the same reasons. I will admit that my willingness to trust the Tohaa has been damaged over the years, particularly after their actions against Ariadna on Novvy Cimmeria. I may yet again be convinced they can be trusted, but only time will tell. Regarding the fall of the Raveneye Bow, that was due to a host of errors among many parties involved. PanOceanian forces were spread too thinly to be effective in multiple locations and their request for our assistance came too late for us to mobilize in force to save it, despite our best efforts. This was further complicated by, apparently, rogue Nomad elements assaulting our positions on the starboard battery and ammunition storage. In truth, all of the Human Sphere is to blame as we have been incapable of putting aside our petty squabbles to confront the threat posed by the EI and its forces of the Combined Army. This may seem rich coming from an Ariadnan considering past events, but it is no less true. Our internal discord no doubt played a part in allowing traitors within Spiral Corps to infiltrate Concilium Prima and wreak the destruction we see before us. Despite our gruff and, rather blunt, exteriors, we Ariadnans can be reasonable and are willing to work with our fellow members of the Sphere to resolve the current crisis without turning into our well known dogfaces. Major Thomas Williams, It brings me great joy and confidence to read your reply, and your concerns regarding the Tohaa are warranted in the sense that the situation must be resolved. Spiral Corps and the Tohaa are not inherently one and the same, but any connections between the two that may exist would of course be a cause for significant concern. It is my, and I would be so bold to say, the hope of the committee that the Tohaa as a whole are not involved in the actions of the Spiral Corps, but we must be patient and hold our nerves as the situation becomes clear both in regards to PanOceania and that of the Tohaa. Of course, I would perhaps personally feel slightly more assured if PanOceania themselves communicated more on this issue, and similarly with the Tohaa but for now we are left as it is. Given that you and yours seem to tacitly approve the aggressive actions of the Combined Army in their incursions at both Bhai and Huaqiao, one can only assume that you and all the remaining O-12 forces do not adequately commit to your duties of representing and protecting the interests of the member states of O-12. If you and yours do not do so, what is the point of the Concilium Convention when quite frankly, it seems rather clear that O-12 is not only not doing its job, but also committing treason? We have only defended the territory assigned to us from an aggressive assault from your *new allies* whom you have apparently handed the world to on a silver platter. From the perspective of not just Yu Jing, but our Haqqislam partners as well, you and yours have betrayed the cause you were meant to champion, not to mention the people you were meant to represent. To say that this seeming clinging on to supposed authority on your part, when said authority stems from the consent of the member states of O-12 (which given your recent actions is as I understand it, not forthcoming) is a disappointment is an understatement. I had expected far better, but then again, I suppose I might be speaking not to Lady Numiria, but a Shasvastii agent. We on the other hand, shall continue to do as we *promised* which is to protect the area assigned to us and contain the QAZ in question, regardless of the assault upon our positions by the Combined Army. Dear Admiral von Kruse, I've yet to see actual proofs of said "agressions" you mention toward your forces at Huaqiao. The Ur Hegemony only provided me reports of good will regarding them trying to setup Quantum Anomaly Containment Devices and then being ambushed by troopers in yellow and green...
