Shona Carano, death and destruction at CC.
Final Boss, an all-around char, tank bruiser.
Koorie Queen, huntress of supports or char finisher at long range.
Oberon, skills and deck control.

 

I'm very interested about the lore...For example Oberon was 3 times the Champion..
Champion of what?And him alone??

 

All these are past season champions the best player of the season get the title of Bahadur, they are Aristos who have held the title multiple times and are legendary for that.

In particular Final Boss is one of the commentators in the Aristeia book and Shona Carano is the reason why humans in Aristeia exist, quite exciting Aristos critical for the lore.

 

But unfort. no lore to read yet :(

Does the winner of the IP gets his own aristo as well?

 

When Aristeia! is established three categories are created: Solo, Team and Open.

Oberon is MVP (Bahadur) in Team and i.e.: current Bahadur, Wild Bill, is Bahadur in Solo and Open.

 

A chimera? FinalBostria probably feels PanO was a mistake, too. Wonder if they'll reveal the first Helot combatant next season, Gutier Sapien.

 

I see CB has finally gone from "questionable homages" to "blatant copies" on some characters. Wonder if they'll get into trouble.

 

They've got this far with a character essentially called "Mr. Deadpool".

Speaking of Mr. Deadpool, I'm fairly sure that Shona Carano is an homage to Gina Carano; an actor and MMA athlete who played Angel dust in the first Deadpool movie. She has the exact same hairstyle as Gina's Angel Dust.

The fluff booklet makes out that she has a rival outside of the show in underground fighting circles...which heavily insinuates that her and Massacre have a rocky relationship, just like Angel dust, who really despises Deadpool in that movie.

Shona is the Gaelic form of Gina, is she potentially a Caledonian entrant? Methinks the broadsword makes this an obvious fact, but it's a german Zweihander style sword...so who knows.

Oh, also her outfit is maybe classic Scottish military regalia? Not sure, but her name is definitely "Gina-Carano-except-Gaelic."

 

Sorry but...Where Can i find those fluff booklets??
