with the stingray series box going out of production i was curious if CB made a new tag series box for the nomads or pan'O would anyone be interested in it even if its just a limited run?

squalo series box would include; squallo, Dragao, Jotum, Seraph

lizard series box; Gecko, Iguana, Lizard, Szalamandra

I think it would make more sense to do limited runs (6 months or so?) of each. I don't want to end up with 3 TAGs for sectorials I don't play to get just one for a sectorial I do play.

I already have all of the reptile series (to give them their proper class) TAGs for Nomads. I don't need any more of them.
Nowt wrong with the lizard that a bit of modification and conversion work can't fix.

    Why?

New S7 TAGs currently cost the same or more than a starter, a box with all four would cost at the very least triple the cost of a single TAG (buy four get one free).

You only really use one in a list, it'd probably have to be a large box which are usually designed for people starting an army, and adds a high cost SKU that takes up a lot of shelf space for a pretty niche product.

I could see them doing it as an online bundle during a TAGravaganza event, or as a Black Friday deal, but it doesn't seem like something worth doing as a regular stock item.

The series are more like cars that share engines but hardly any exterior part. They do not look like a family, nor allow "flexible" models by adding or swapping parts. Or in other words, design choices do not allow kits like those PSC tanks boxes where one lets you build different models easily. In the case of Geckos, it would be a serious problem if you want more than one, because you would get the non-Geckos too. Nevermind that designs are fixed poses, instead of giving some "easy conversion" options or just being a bit posable.

Some will call this heresy (they must only know polyester), but resin shines for "big" models and with new machines it should reduce costs even more. Warlord has 3 treemen for 17.50 pounds... so for Alpha Unit (two S2ish humanoids in one base) price you get a blister with 3 big HI or small TAGs.

It would be like a starter box in size for 4 TAGs. There is a lot of air inside blisters and boxes, and as proof we have that TAG that was distributed in a blister.
