Winterforce "crash"

    After my early negativity I played a couple games with Winterforce this weekend. The first one against Kosmo, the second one against Bakunin.

    Conclusions... Kosmo is beyond reach. Too many options, too many ways to do harm, too many templates which makes any mimetism a "bad joke". The Volkolat+rokots with full old fireteams bonuses... The match ended with a last turn where I couldn't kill anything in order to catch any tech-coffin and my rival placing smoke over one tech-cofing outside LoF and moving safe the specialist without me having zero chances to do anything to avoid that, only pray to him having bad rolls while taking the tech-coffin (It didn't happen, at first roll the game was him). Of course, we can play against kosmo, but the error marge is too thin, we can allow bad face to face rolls.

    Coming back to Winter... as others said, Boyg could be a thing now, I have to taste it. My first thoughts on the table are: winter has lost fire accuracy but has gain mobility and maybe "firepower". The reactive turn it would be harder but in active we can place more attack vectors. I played this yesterday against Bakunin, dices went too well, the feeling is the same as ever, if your "firepower" capacity works as "it should", winter can do a lot of harm.

    Fireteams: Uma+2 fusiliers (haris), justice+infirmarer+shona (haris), nisse+gunnar+agnes+machinist (core).

    The high mobility was really welcome. What I noticed is now the ML isn't as good as it was before as "ARO piece", the ranges plus the drop down of bonuses do a lot for the "active player", my nisse shoot better than the linked riot girl, my justice K. too, so in this case I experienced the changes for "good".

    What I noticed too, now we have more "burst+1" than before, this have to be a thing. But still I have to face heavy targets as an Avatar or similar in order to take good conclusions about the changes.

    Passed my "initial negativity" maybe It has some hope, but I'm convinced that the main problems still remain for Pano in general. Pano have too many dependence for winning face to face rolls, if the "To shoot until nobody left" fails, you have to little to do, even if you face some army with high template presence, you have a big problems because any exchange will be too expensive.
