    Hello,

I wasn't capable of find some topic about Winterforce, as the other Pano sectorial and Vainilla have, so I will going to do it...

    What we have in Winterforce?

As some others sectorials: "flexibility formation of fireteams", a lot of it.

What is Winterforce? The fist of Pano. They haven't anything close to "subtle". "No camo", no DA, no smoke. So, if you wanna do something you will do it shooting first asking later. No other options remains. And Winter, thanks to the amount of troups with some kind of mimetism can do it really well.

    About profiles...

Fusiliers --> they are the "backbone" of winterforce. The provide us some cheap orders and too a good base for fireteam cores. One of them can be the Lt option, not a heavy one, but cheap and easy to hide and protect if in a core.

ORCS --> they are the same as the "fusiliers" but in a "heavy option". With the SWC reduction and a cheaper profile costs, now to choose this guys to put in table some heavy weapons is really attractive. They mix really well with fusuliers. If we want some ARO strenght we will choose the Feurbach option, if not, we could align the HMG. Even both. I really don't understand the "profiles Winterforce with climbing plus" but maybe I will do in the future. We can do use of them in "haris", "core" os a part of a fusiliers fireteam. To me the last option is the best of it.

Justice K. --> The first of the "wildcards" options. A heavy armoured profile, with a good selection of heavy weapons, it can be one of the best ARO pieces in Winterforce with the ML if in a fireteam, or a pain in the ass with the burst 5 spitifre and CD14 plus bonusses. It can do an excelent job as a pice in a full core, a haris or even a duo.

Hospitallers --> Another heavy option, this time only with haris, but with the posibility to do "duo" with the Justice K. (Hello "doctor", please go and push that button there). It could be an option if we want to play a powerfull haris and more endurable than the "ORCs" option.

Vargar --> Now they can move 10/10, so we can said they are a good choice as a core fireteam, but to me is the "haris" option wich I like more plus "albedo". In a sectorial where mimetism skill is "plenty", the possibility to take down the "enemy's msv" as safetly as possible is awesome. A really good combination. That "mk1+minelayer" profile is gold.

Boyg --> And yet I don't understand the ML profile, but yes the Mk12. We can do use of all the SWC points and still place another heavy unit with a weapon capable of do some damage. Now with CD14 and cheaper is a really good option as "solo unit" or with a wildcard, thanks his "duo" option.

REMS --> Nothing new. We have the same as always had, so... Only to mention the improvements now they can go prone and we don' need anymore place a "hacker" to have a legal armylist. Too the peacemaker is now better because it has forward deployment, which is better than the previous deployment skill.

Jotum --> Cheaper in points and SWC... A really good choice if we want to punch the enemy at full strenght. Yes, maybe isn't the best TAG in game, but with the new "Crit." rules, when in covert it has inmunity to weapons with damage 13 or lower. They aren't too many weapons to put down this "Baby". We can even have 2 in the same list, and we can do it if we will deploy a lot of fusiliers.

Nokken --> They are pretty much the same as in N3. A good profile but easy to hunt for the rival skirmysh. A template and the will kiss the floor. If we place only "haris+core" but no duos, or try and extremely forward deployable list, they are one of our choices. Still I think they are excelent choices against enemies with a several lack of MSV profiles.

Locust --> Another profile like the Nokken. A little expensive and only mimetism -6 to protect him. Some profiles could be really surpresives if we try to "infiltrate" and no losing any kind of "camo state" we could take the risk. Now, the marksmanrifle option could be a pain in the ass if we do use of the "supression fire token".

Both, Nokken and Locust, plus Peacemaker, are the Winterforce forward deployment options. They aren`t the best if we compare against what we can face in other factions, but still can do the work.

Trauma and Machinist, the support pack. They don't bring anything new.

Nisses --> I have to say I hoped some more of them in N4. Still they are expensive and the SWC cost for the Lt option do a heavy dead weight ,but not all is bad. We can do a heavy core base on mimetism or a "haris" to hunt enemy pieces. A good combination with the vargars.

Karhu --> The spoiled brads of Winterforce (in N4), while in N3 the troup had almost no sense, now in N4 the provide us a "jewel". They are "la crême de la crême". Wildcard + NCO + Climbing plus + Haris + Duo. And a combination of weapons and habilities really useful. This guys allow us to place a lot of troups and "configure" the fireteams as we want in every time. With the Feurbach +1Burst in a CORE we have a Burst 4 heavy weapon capable of put down the heavier targets. With climbing plus is really easy to go there where nobody await a shoot... So, nothing more to say.

Gunnar --> A little better now than in N3. With the "climbing plus option" it could be a really good choice to a Karhus haris. It brings to us a little of "Close Combat", and too is a reasonable good shooter and specialist. It could go with a Boyg in duo. Or where we want because his wildcard condition.

Quinn --> Another Wildcard. Specialist, forward obsever, msv, marksman shock rifle.

Uma --> The only camo option, but without the hability to go forward the enemy in the deployment phase. So, not really usefull. Still a little expensive, but is a Lt option, which can be part of any fireteam and whitout SWC cost. She has too climbing plus.

Agnes --> Now she is wildcard we can talk about her. It bring us a template weapon in a fireteam and too an specialist. Not the cheaper one but still a cheap unit for expensive "fireteams" (ORCS, Hospitalliers...).

Shona --> Wildcard, why not? :D Another option to put some kind of "good CC" in Winterforce.

As we can see Winterforce has a lot of wildcards options, this allow us to make a list and change the main fireteam, the secondary (haris or duos) as we wish to adapt us the better to the enemy, the table, the objetives and, of course, if we go first o second. And this isn't the unique really good thing. This flexibility allow us to have a full fireteam core almost the entire game.

Hey nice intro guide to winterfoce.

OK I'll like to throw my inside on the sectorial.

    Some key factors are:
    -fireteam flexibility
    -high movility troops
    -no camo markers

So if we dont have an good orthodox midtable game without the camo markers, we can create some some opportunities with what we have by saturation.
Right now we can afford 4 nokken + 2 locust + 2 peacemakers as our vanguard to create some denial zones for our or solo troops to make some objectives.

One thing that really catch my eye too is the fast troops in this sectorial is the speed for orcs, karhus and JKs, specially the FD+4 of the JK spitfire.

We can in just 1 order place a HI spitfire in mid table carrying a haris.
we can actually deploy this hight mobility haris helped by noken+locust khd and peacemaker repeater. making the mid table a much more safer zone for as to act.
