one question does enhanced reaction stack with link team buffs, can you get 2 buffed Tsyklon feurbachs in a link with B3 reaction fire for the most annoying defence link (especially if you keep intruder nearby to stop smoke tricks
Cool update! The special core makes me consider to play a Brigada LT now to avoid the SWC cost attached to the Alguaciles LT. How do you guys feel about that? Defensive Link that can be used in turn 2 or 3 to push forward after tye ARO pieces are down.
No, Enhanced Reaction and Overclock are not compatible with the Fireteam burst bonus. You can add Marksmanship 2 from assisted fire though, so they're shooting at 18s in their +3 band with AP+DA+Shock ammo.
You know we got linkable doctors and smoke grenades in Wildcats right? That's not nothing. If Lupe gets Haris we might have a new way to link Jaguars.
Lupe in Massacre Haris kinda did that. Kinda Love the update. Bit surprised / slightly dissapointed they didnt touch wildcats. Overall though, great lots of cool new options.
It doesn't. It specifically sets your burst to 2, it doesn't give you +1 to burst. So even if you have something to improve your burst, enhanced reaction locks it at 2.
Marksmanship stacks though. So BS15 B3 Shock Fuerbach that ignores cover (and -3 range mods, plus shoots in 360 arc), double unconcious with WIP15 repairs with rerolls. Bonus climbing plus and double burst pitchers for anything it cant crack head on. Def makes the Tsyklon Fuerback more interesting.
Disappointed by the Alg + MB core. I'd have preferred more profile love and setting them up around interesting and versatile Duos. Still hoping for profile changes (Tinbot on the Hacker, for one). MB HMG + Gecko Combi seems like a solid option as a Duo. Personally I find the Tsyklon change underwhelming. It's not nearly adventurous enough. I'd have preferred: 'Up to one Tsyklon counts as a Wildcard' AND 'Up to one Lunokhod counts as a Wildcard'*. Lack of REM + MI link is a missed opportunity for showing off Nomads' features. * Maybe we'll see Lunokhods in links in Bakunin as it would go a long way mitigating the issues with Moira and Moderator cores.
This link seems like it would get you a long way for your money: Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 5 WILDCAT Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 24) WILDCAT (Number 2) Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 20) WILDCAT Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19) LUPE BALBOA Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Panzerfaust, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (0 | 23) DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) 1.5 SWC | 100 Points Open in Infinity Army Templates everywhere, two specialists, smoke, half the link starts out FD1, and all for a hundred points? yeeeeeah buddy
Yeah, I've been on the receiving end of Wildcat links a few times, this looks like more of the same, but with even more utility.
Smoke in an MI link isn't bad either: Move + Smoke has less opportunity cost. I'd probably build that defensively with the HRL still and run an aggressive Haris: Spitfire + Haris + Lupe/Daktari. And goddammit. You can't run a Wildcat Haris + full core (Daks are AVA1). This Haris is valid though: Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 3 SEÑOR MASSACRE (Fireteam: Haris) Breaker Combi Rifle, E/M Grenades, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, AP CCW, E/M CCW. (0.5 | 30) LUPE BALBOA Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Panzerfaust, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (0 | 23) DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) 0.5 SWC | 67 Points Open in Infinity Army AND you can use a Daktari to replace Massacre in a Jaguar core...
Maybe just cause it's so obvious, but I don't think anyone has mentioned this as a pretty baller defensive link: Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 5 MOBILE BRIGADA Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 40) MOBILE BRIGADA Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 40) ALGUACIL (Forward Observer, Deployable Repeater) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12) ALGUACIL (Forward Observer, Deployable Repeater) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12) DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) 4 SWC | 118 Points Open in Infinity Army Doesn't have the Riots Grrls many bells and whistles, but straight up big hammer for pretty small cost. Obvs could go with Brigada HMG instead of one ML for active punch.
You're bad and should feel bad. It's links like this that justify things like Hsien + MadTrap shenanigans... oh, right [emoji14] But in reality this is exactly why I don't like mixed links, they're designed to enable samey min-maxing like that.
Strangley, I feel pretty good ;) I feel like there's a lot of different options to explore here before we we find the most optimal. That's one effective way to play (and one I like) but definitely not the only one. Somewhat challenging Lt options still is one wrinkle for optimal min maxing in CJC for sure I think.
MB Lt in an Alg link is a real boon for Lt hunting games. SSL2 ARM4 2W gives a lot of things pause. I think there's a lot that's interesting. I just think that the MB + Alg core is lazy. In particular I think it'll be interesting to see what they do with the Jaguar core link. That just got significantly buffed (Lupe + Daktari + 3 Jags, Massacre + 2 Jags is viable).
