Why should I take Seraph over Bulleteer?

Hell, paired TR HMGs is one of the best TAG support setups in the game.

Minimal orders for positioning and setting up for defence, solid support attack pieces and get extra benefit from the EVO you are probably taking anyway

almost exactly, though Id swap groups on one of the TR HMGs and the Evo. Id also personally probably either make the nisse HMG an MSR, or drop it entirely in favour of a pathfinder and something else.

the nisse HMG swap is probably entirely personal preference however

Thats a "Sval" themed list Id probably be more than happy to run, 2 Auxbots and a SJ Spit for hunting whatever the sensors Job.
The Mulebot is counter to my current belief on lists, but its role here is as a mid-DZ repeater for the Evo to Buff a TR bot through

Have you ever had the annoying problem of hiding camo tokens / Hackers prone on rooftops ruining your TAGs day instead of standing out to die in ARO vs your superior firepower?

The Seraph makes that problem their problem. It just jumps up and (discover then) shoots em.

It's not necessarily the best toe to toe main battle TAG like a Jotum or a Cutter. But it's a nightmare grasshopper of doom for the kind of opponent who tries to turtle up an jam up the midfield and their deployment with stuff hiding with deployables and templates, because it can usually draw a bead on them from longer range angles they don't expect, or if not just send his little buddy in to burn them to death.

And given it's a TAG and a BS15 Rem pres one at that, it can still take most ARO pieces head on in it's active, especially given its mobility, and defend itself relatively well with the auxbot and some support in teh reactive.

And its ARM7, which versus AP ammo may as well be ARM8

So first off, the Seraph is one of the two best tools in PanO's arsenal for Looting and Sabotaging (the other being the Guarda de Assalto with its Eclipse Smoke & D-Charges). That alone merits some worth - it's capable of fighting through pretty much anything, slices and dices the AC2 to bits, and doesn't care about the mines that usually clog that mission up.

I usually take the Seraph in MO although I'm itching to try it in Vanilla now. I find it works best in a single combat group list, opposite a minimalist Hospitaller + Magister link. Throw in a TOFOOS and some support and you have a classic "hammer and anvil" list. Do you throw your pieces out to ARO and get eaten by the Hospitaller HMG? Do you hide your troops and get taken apart by the Seraph? Also it's a very surprising reserve drop since you already have a full HI link on the table, a lot of people won't expect the TAG and they will counter-deploy your link but leave a weak flank that the Seraph can exploit.

The Superjump horse has mostly been beaten to death, but I'll add that a lot of tables aren't usually set up with Superjump in mind, and most opponents aren't aware that tool is in PanO's arsenal. That combination can lead to the Seraph running the table pretty easily, although it only works once per unprepared opponent.

I love the guy and I definitely don't field him as much as I should. It's one of the models that actually got me back into Infinity after a 3-year hiatus, and whenever I put him on the table he definitely earns his keep.
