Why is the editing in the ITS documents so consistently bad?

I was reading over the Power Pack mission today, and there are number of things wrong with the way the mission is written up - notably, there is not information on how to interact with the consoles. This information was in the previous version of the scenario, and was strangely deleted in the changeover to ITS 10. The Saturation Zone in the middle of the board is defined in the same way as the Exclusion Zone in Rescue, but the diagrams show different sizes (16" across for Rescue, 8" for Power Pack).

What's up with this? Why does it seem so slapdash? Why are mistakes seemingly being piled upon mistakes rather than revisions?

I can make a quick suggestion here for CB - Ask the community to proofread, release a 0.9 doc a week ahead of the "official" launch of a PDF, and we'll root 'em out. Missing rules, typos, etc.

Hell, we'll all get jobs at the Oxford and Webster's dictionaries to change the accepted spellings of English words just to find new typos. :P
