    So having them only visible on some instead is better... How?

    @thread but more specifically @psychoticstorm

    I too was disappointed when the new Magister sculpts removed the shoulder mounted Pzfausts. I ended up making a greenstuff press-mold of the Pano Pzfaust (which is actually a YJ Pzfaust, look at the Wu Ming sculpts if you wanna get mad). I chopped off the exhaust tube and found a way to mount it on the shoulderpads of the Magisters. Overall I feel like it’s a very noticeable change in the silhouette of the model and is recognizable from across the table. It’s considerably larger and chunkier than the old shoulder mounted Pzfausts (so it’s more recognizable) but still retains the high tech feel of a shoulder mounted antitank rocket that tracks with the helmet’s visor targeting systems.

    Does not look bad, it could be incorporated in a back based deployable platform like armoured core shoulder deployable weapons.

    I really like that solution. I think size was part of the problem - the Magister Pzfausts were quite small compared to the ones I made, and probably didn’t affect the silhouette as much. The back-mounted system could be quite noticeable from a distance and also emphasize the high tech design in PanO weaponry.

    Would love to see someone do a sketch or conversion on the new Teutons when they arrive. 3D printed parts are a thing!

    After watching the CB battle report, I'm more annoyed that:

    A. the old panzerfaust design CONTINUES to be the new PanO MSV,
    B. they can't even be bothered to be consistent with it, given the Black Friar completely lacks that bit of design.

    I dont like the Ofenrohr as the Jaguars came out. Nomads got more hightech and don´t have to give their troops this old lowtech thing. After that the Wu Ming Box has it also, same (or nearly) design over two factions. Pan O ist at least fitting for this bulky thing. 200 years in the future ... they still use WWII Panzerfausts, but now with two barrels :smirk:

    As "pure" as the pink salt mined from the "Himalayas".

    (*neither pure nor mined in the Himalayas).

    Fore-arm mounted panzerfaust ala Ironman would be a nice change imo. Edit: Ninja'd on the first page lol
