Named versions of profiles which either exist in armies already (that does seem very likely to be a MultiHMG Yan Huo) or which will be added (a Multi Rifle Kamau doesn't seem like much of a stretch) seems like the most obvious way for CB to include the models in Infinity without directly bringing across the Characters. But Cube Backups before going on a literal suicide mission through the Archeron Gate into Combine Army space do seem likely.
Bostria said that it contained some Taigha when he was asked in the Q&A at Adepticon. But I don't think anyone has officially confirmed that it'd be 8. Now, there may well be, and it'd be consistent with the kind of role they would likely play in such a game, but numbers are pure speculation.
If I remember correctly, the greatest threat from sepsitor is that is corrupts backups as well, so I would not expect they have a safety net for their suicide mission.
I think that is true only in case of cube 2.0 which is all time conected to the net. In case of standard cube, backup should be safe.
I mean, we have examples like Al-Djabel who has backups, but like many Hassassins has never used a proper Cube. It's basically 6th Day system.
Infinity Profiles make sense... all those characters have a military background of some sort. So we'll get to use their past versions like we get to use past/future Profiles for Aristos.
Also, I just realized that Uma appears to be wearing a version of Joan's mobility armor. Similar torso piece, and matching array of lights.
mmmh is there any ppl from scandinavian origin in PanOceania in the fluff ? well svarthelma sound scandinavian enough
25% of Svalarheima (PanO side) is of northern European origin due to the initial colonisation drive (the names had already been set by the PanO exploratory vessel "Midgard", crewed by mostly Norwegian and German crew), the rest came following the mining rush.
Well, it looked a lot like that was a PanOceanian Multi-Rifle in the original image and Kamau don't get those either. But her armour does look pretty different. It's not Croc Man armour either. I think @ThananRollice might be right, it does look a lot like light power armour of the Joan v2 type.
It would make sense if she's a"Hero" so-to-speak. I figured these characters were like celebrities among their respective factions – the best of the best.
She jus seems to be an Orc from Svalarheima. Realize each PanO sectorial paint their helmet faceplates in a specific color: Varuna: Black Neoterra: Red Acontecimento: Green So it seems PanO Svalarheima regimental troops will wear white faceplates.
