Pretty much what I was expecting from an NPC, fixed stats and equipment, all on a single card. My guess is that NPCs will belong to a player, much like equipment, who will control them on the board, guess we'll find out more next week
Looks a lot like imperial assault to me from what can be guessed from the hero and npc cards. I find that promising Also, it looks like it uses a lot of artisteia stuff. icons and dice.
Am I seeing 6 Nox models that look exactly the same? And 2 Gwailos, twins? Different models means no copies, Bostria... or a mention that the ones we are seeing are stand-ins XD I prefer my games to not be reskins of others... I hope the similarities are only superficial. So... Interventor with fastpanda XD
If you watch the video he says that this is a prototype and they're working towards them all being unique sculpts.
2:45 "Each one of these miniatures are exclusive from the upcoming KickStarter campaign..." 2:54 "... And we are working very hard in order to make every single enemy from the work to be a unique sculpture" Mutually contradictory messages. The video needs, anyway, a visual disclaimer about how the shas models are not the definitive ones.
They aren't contradictory. The first one is saying that the miniatures are exclusive to the kickstarter (not available outside the kickstarter), and the 2nd one is saying that they're working to have the enemy sculpts unique, as in no repeated sculpts.
Like what I'm seeing in the video. The use of Aristeia mechanics and icon dice is a good decision on the part of CB. As for the KS I will probably not back it. But will buy the game from a local FLGS who backs the KS with a Merchant Pledge.
Do we know yet what kind of unit the Yu Jing guy is and what weapon he has? A belt fed heavy shoutgun sounds just like my kind of crazy, but I can't imagine that's what it is. I hope I can use him for Infinity. Slap a helmet on that man and he looks proper badass.
He has a standard YuJing HMG, but belt fed. His armor is different from any yujing unit tho. Possibly that is the new look of Shang Ji armor? He is definitely too small to be a yan huo.
His legs look like Yan Huo, and some of us are speculating that he was originally sculpted to be on a 40mm base. (as in, he was supposed to be the Yan Huo multiHMG model). Or maybe CB finally figured out what they're going to do with the Shang Ji.
Yan huo has different legs, different torso, different shoulder pads, different forearm armor. Pretty much nothing says yan huo in terms of design. Legs are similar in all YJ heavy infantry units, but if you look at the upper leg armor (quad armor), yan huo has a different one.
Idk if this has been mentioned, but in the GenCon Twitch interview today, Carlos confirmed that all Defiance characters would be getting Infinity profiles!
