I was going to use the new Yuan Yuan, but then I ended up really disliking the paintjob I had going on with her. Just not good work. So now I'm going to use a Dragon Lady. Probably going to attach a blade to the end of her umbrella shaft and turn it into a shortspear.
So after playing WB pretty consistently since fireteam changes, I've really liked the Liang Kai + Shaolin haris. I'm sure many already know why. For core teams, i've tried a few different teams. I've been a lot less into the Shang Ji + Zhanshi teams. I inevitably loose the SJ and the rest of the Zhanshi are almost useless after. I've also found 5-man SJ teams of whatever combo to be hard to work with. So the last few games i've done they have been 3-man cores of Shang Ji, Jujak, or combo of them. I've been pretty disappointed in the Ye Mao. I'll take the KHD usually but I'll never take them as a three man team. They are very expensive for a 1 wound guy. The MSV1 has been marginal help. Their weapons are meh.
I prefer Jing Qo for my shaolin haris. You get a competent shooter with decent midrange gun. On top of that Climb+ is usable in fireteam with normal guys while Super Jump sucks. Plus it gives her +1" for missions with antarctic terrain.
I've been using my swc elsewhere so the khd works for me. Actually the engineer has been ok too. He helped win me my last tournament. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
I'm opening this line for a quick question; Liang Kao in a shaolin Haris, makes everyone lose their irregular and impetuous orders??
They lose their impetuous order by been in a fireteam, Liang kai makes their irregular order regular.
I would add that he needs to be in the Fireteam. Just because in the list, doesn't make them Regular.
