I would probably go Shasvasti. The new artwork has a very Species feel to it, thin veneer of humanity hiding the beastly and strange. Rules wise getting a full rework should make them very usable. All of the recent updates have really pushed older armies to feeling outdated even if they still work well and they should avoid that.
It's really hard to dislike the red face monkey warrior dudes, their truly fantastic model revamp certainly didn't hurt things. I never really was a Tohaa fan but the new Spiral Corps box is really, really tempting.
