Still no news on the return of tohaa, which could therefore come back via an N5 campaign module reboot (bearing in mind that there was none in N4).
There's going to be a battlepack but it won't be jsa vs mero, the picture clearly shows a Bolt, and a guy with a knife who looks to be an ariadnais (a caledo? hard to tell).
Seems I was wrong predicting N5 would be August 2025's big launch after all. Narratively, I see no reason for JSA's promotion, but I suppose they are banking on sales and will justify the "promotion" after the fact. It would be strange to get an Operation box in the last quarter of a year, however.
The seminar seems to have ended without any discussion of TAG's mode, or the unveiling of Big Thing's 3rd silhouette.
In the image showing the battlepack, the guy behind the bolt seems to be tohaa, he seems to have spiral characteristics, you'll look at the arms, in discord sd image they are very furry with spikes. To be confirmed with the HD image. Spoiler: +
Twin Antennas and an SMG, might be something new as it does not look like Patsy or might be something we already know as a profile, there is one other PanO HI with SMG.
I know locally folks have speculated from the seminar and the Tikbalang being released that it might be SAA paired with JSA, so it could be a redone Guarda de Assalto
The only other twin antenna SMG troop I can think of is the SMG Swiss Guard. Could also be a new load out for an existing troop, like ORCs, instead of a new troop. Edit: Actually, I like the Guarda de Assalto theory others have suggested, mostly because I want one!
The PanO part is from the Kestrel Colonial Force (if I understood Bostria correctly during the Q&A). Le Japanses part is from the Shindenbutai.
So... PanO is getting a sixth sectorial? Or will that mean that they're finally getting rid of entire sectorials and replace Acon and/or NCA with a new one?
Talk I saw elsewhere from attendees was that acon is getting replaced. As in not rebooted, not relaunched, replaced. What that actually means in real terms will come to tell, interpretations of bostrias Spanglish 3rd hand via internet ain't exactly reliable
The Ratnik maybe. What should a spiral guy do in the pan vs jsa battlepack? Maybe the bonus-mini but thats all.
Unless there's major changes with spiral they're not in the base n5 game until na2 gets feathered in at some undisclosed time in the future. Would be weird to be in there unless there's a time skip and a lore reason for them to be in that pack
I saw a random video in YT where Bostrias was talking and said, JSA will have the Vanilla, the Oban Great (or Grey) watch, wich is the actual JSA sectorial, and a new one, the Shindenbutai And vanillas will have fireteams, but VERY limited
