    1.PanO
The undisputed superpower of the Infinity universe.
They possess the absolute best hardware precision, which is mechanically reflected in their superior BS —boasting the rare BS 15. Even ALEPH's Marut had PanO involvement during its manufacturing process.
Beyond just raw BS, their access to rare equipment like FastPanda, WildParrot, MSV3, and the HRMC further solidifies PanO's leading position in hardware tech.
Their soldiers favor high-tech gear and are highly trained. The faction leans heavily toward a regular military structure; they have very few Warbands and reject "low-tech" tactical options like smoke grenades.

    2.YJ
PanO's main rival. YJ has carved out its own unique path in terms of Heavy Infantry (HI) functionality and cost efficiency.
While they might not develop unique, flashier hardware like PanO does, they excel in software capabilities—boasting firewall(-6) and carrying more Hacker upgrades than PanO.
With access to Monks and Ninjas, YJ troops are far better trained in CC compared to PanO.
Overall, while YJ's gear might seem less "special" on paper, they easily outclass their rival in tactical flexibility.
However, their Doctors are generally inferior to those of other factions.

    3.Ariadna:
Completely different from the previous two superpowers, Ariadna is themed around low-tech survival. This leads to a distinct shift in their core mechanics. In Infinity, high-tech factions typically chase high accuracy and a wider margin for error. Ariadna is the exact opposite; they lack the stat modifiers that tech-heavy giants rely on. Instead, Ariadna's true strength lies in forcing the opponent into a gambling game.
This philosophy is baked into every layer of their design. Ariadna units have a higher average PH (Physique), and since Infinity rarely penalizes or modifies PH rolls, Ariadna is simply better at winning pure coin-flips when forced to Dodge.
Their average BS might be lower, but T2 ammunition means an enemy with 2 Wounds goes down instantly after a single failed save—completely robbing the opponent of risk mitigation. Combine that with a relentless spam of Camouflage markers that force the enemy to play guessing games (with plenty of genuine threats hidden among them), and you have a faction that thrives in chaos. Of course, the price for all of this is giving up access to high-tech gear entirely.

    4.Haqqislam
Focuses on biotechnology and deception technology. They are not in a leading position regarding either hardware or software. Haqq's offensive strength is inferior to other factions. However, they possess a rich array of "defensive capabilities" to delay the opponent's advance. For example, most melee units do not have high MA; instead, they carry CC Attack (-6 or -9).
Their Heavy Infantry might lack the shooting modifiers of tech superpowers like PanO or YJ, but they do not lose out on baseline attributes.
It creates a dynamic of: "My efficiency in attacking you is poor, but you face huge risks when trying to attack me." They also possess various cheap, irregular units; though lacking in breakthrough capabilities, they excel in utility and stalling the enemy.
A prime example is their cheap Jammer options. Haqq's Doctors are the most efficient in the entire game. Units can stand up again after being knocked down to keep entanglement with the opponent. Rather than forcing a breakthrough with brute force, Haqq focuses more on precisely positioning units to accomplish objectives and secure victory.

    5.Nomads
Stacked with upgraded hacking devices and extensive hacking networks, Nomads sit firmly at the leading edge of technology. On the hardware front, they field heavy-hitters like the HRMC and utility tools like FastPandas. On the software side, they boast HDP and Firewall (-6) modifiers. They even possess their own unique tech, such as the AI Motorcycle.
However, the price for having all this high-tech utility is a distinct vulnerability in their command structure.
Due to their decentralized nature, Nomads suffer from a lack of reliable command systems, meaning their Lieutenant options or access to CoC are notably lower in strength or highly restricted.

    6.Combined Army
The ultimate threat to the Human Sphere. They possess hyper-advanced technology and gear that humanity can't even touch, while also fielding improved versions of the Human Sphere's own high-tech equipment. As the invading force, they are designed to play with extreme offensive aggression.
This is evident in their widespread access to Plasma weapons, as well as upgraded hacking programs like Trinity with an active +1 Burst modifier on their Hacking Devices. Consequently, they are theoretically the most points-expensive and elite faction in the entire Infinity universe.

    7.ALEPH
The guardians of the Human Sphere. In contrast to the Combined Army's destructive high-tech arsenal, ALEPH’s technology is far more advanced on the defensive side. While their raw offensive dominance might be slightly lower, they make up for it with an array of incredibly persistent units that are an absolute nightmare to root out.
A prime example is the Myrmidon series: they stack negative modifiers like Min (-6) to shut down incoming fire, they are lethal in CC (making melee a risky counter), and they remain completely Unhackable.
Alternatively, ALEPH can field multiple REMs paired with elite engineers to maintain constant combat readiness on the field.
Similar to Haqqislam, ALEPH excels at defensive play. However, while Haqq relies on cheap, disposable irregular units to stall, ALEPH relies on the sheer, stubborn survivability of its individual models. Consequently, they are theoretically the second most points-expensive and elite faction in the game.

    8.O-12
The United Nations of the Human Sphere, boasting top talents from every field. They are a faction famously known for their signature non-lethal weapon: the Riotstopper.
While they share similar characteristics with traditional human superpowers like PanO or YJ, O-12 is far more objective-oriented, with many of their units naturally starting as Specialists—such as the Raveneye or the Ment Agent.
Furthermore, O-12 fields numerous high-mobility units equipped with Super Jump or Climbing Plus. Backed by premium high-tech support like HDP and the HRMC, they are the faction with the fewest irregular unit options in the game.
Consequently, they stand as the third most points-expensive line-army faction in Infinity.

    9.JSA
Having seceded from Yu Jing to fight for independence, JSA retains a few of YJ's core traits while focusing heavily on close-quarters combat and surgical high-value target elimination. While they lack the sheer variety of Heavy Infantry (HI) options found in Yu Jing, they inherit their cheap, durable nature and double down on close combat (CC) deadliness.
JSA boasts a wide array of Ninja profiles, allowing them to precisely assassinate priority targets and seize key objectives. However, this martial focus comes at a cost: JSA struggles significantly in both hacking and ranged firefights, and they are notoriously lacking in quality Doctor or Engineer support.

    10.Tohaa
The other major alien race in the universe, Tohaa is characterized by their extensive use of unique biotechnology. However, their ranged weaponry lacks raw stopping power, and their baseline BS (Ballistic Skill) is relatively low. On top of that, they are virtually incapable of engaging in traditional hacking warfare.
