So this matters for CH/TO Camo troops with a hacking device that aren't in a marker state moving through an enemy repeater? I don't really see this as a big deal.

Oh no your big heavy metal armor with high tech electronics wont let you sneak past an electronic screening area on your tippy toes like Scooby Doo while someone is actively monitoring it. I am shocked.

"Passively not paying attention, relying on intuition to give them a heads up" you mean.

You can't use Stealth against troops with SSL2, but does SSL2 trigger if you're just passing by the Repeater without attacking the Hacker?

It doesn't let you delay, because they're not in your ZoC.

Repeater extends hacker ZOC with respect to hackable targets.

Not quite, it expands Hacking Area, allows them to hack within the repeater's ZoC, and lets them respond with Hacking programs to orders spent within the repeater's ZoC.

As 6th Sense is not a Hacking Program you wouldn't be able to react with it.

I've been told several times, by players from around the world, that SSL2 allows you to hack a HI attempting to stealth in one of your repeater's ZOC. Is this not true?

Stealth is useless against a trooper with Sixth Sense. Sixth Sense Level 2 has nothing to do with it. It's sufficient that the hacker has any level of Sixth Sense (example: Wardriver)

I think what Colbrook says is that you can't use Sixth Sense Level 1 to delay your ARO, because the Hacking Area is not the trooper's own ZoC.

P.s. I find no similar interaction with Cautious Movement, so sneaking through a Repeater network Scooby Doo Style at half speed should be possible.

Does anyone else have thoughts on this? Here's what I found:

    • For this Cautious Movement to generate no AROs, it must end at a location that is also outside the LoF and the Zone of Control of all enemy figures and Markers.
    • You cannot use Cautious Movement inside the Zone of Control of an enemy.
This leads me to believe you may still hack an enemy attempting to Cautious Move through your repeater network. Unless, I guess, you start outside and end outside said repeater ZOC.

RAW it extends the hacker's ZOC, per http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Repeater :
    • "In the same way, they can also react with Hacking Programs to enemy Orders declared in the Zone of Control of the Repeater as if it were their Zone of Control."

      SSL1 grants:
    • In the Reactive Turn, Sixth Sense L1 allows its user to delay his ARO declaration until after the declaration of the second Short Skill of the enemy inside his Zone of Control.

Being that you can declare an ARO against a hackable target, and that it's as-if it were your own ZOC, you can delay ARO.

Reacting by delaying your ARO with 6th Sense is not reacting with a Hacking Program.

What will 2019 bring? The same rules debates as 2015.

Just to be extra clear; you may hack anyone in ZOC, (even if that zoc is through a repeater), and ignore stealth. Furthermore, an enemy may not cautious move when starting in or moving into ZOC (including a repeater), otherwise, they get hacked. (If possible). The only restriction, (still debated), is that said hacker may not delay their hack ARO if the ZOC in question is through a repeater.

    Is this correct?

Sweet. Thank you. I've been aggravating my regular Pan-Opponent with well placed pitchers for the last 1.5 years. I would have felt terrible if I was doing it wrong!

Now I'll just continue to laugh as he continues his futile attempt to run arrogant Pain Train links against me.
