Actually, if we want some sort of hybrid Morlock/Moderator (Morerator? Modlock?) maybe that's a good way to get there...

If BJC got a special ops troop, it should be a character zero.

Hmm... a character Zero.... let's make them an ex Morlock as well so they're good a CC and have weird skills and let's call them a Triple Zero to represent how they're three times better than a regular Zero? [emoji14]

Which actually runs into the reason that Bakunin hasn't had a Spec Ops for so long: between Bran, Kusanagi, Zoe (& Pi-well) and Avi the faction is already heavy on characters. It's only recently most other factions have gotten close to 4 faction unique characters.

Moderator/TM linkable Ex-Morlock character could be fun. Mk 12 profile to act as a point man/oblique ARO fuelled by Moderators and a BSG, Grenades version to Duo with TMs: kinda like a Dogged not-Wulver. Give them Eclipse grenades and Bakunin goes a little bit further towards being the 'fuck MSV2' faction again. Frenzy to reduce cost a little (Impetuous if necessary but Frenzy should be enough). The result is something that can add spine to Moderator Fireteams or allow a TM to avoid the fights it can't take.

If you pair that change with giving TMs a Haris (even if you take it from Grrls) and Clockmakers Wildcard (also a second LSG+ADHL profile because AVA2 and only 1 profile is sad), you can build an excellent (if expensive) button pushing Praxis-Haris (should be ~100pts of TM+Ex Morlock+Clockmaker).

IE use the opportunity to buff Mods and TMs.

The other alternative would be to build an Observance Liasion Officer to the Moderator corps. Perhaps a downgraded Healer: MMR/BSG, Nanopulsar, Koalas, Mimmetism, MOV4-4 BS11 ARM1, BTS 3, WIP13, Bio-immune. Great cornerguard for an Observance Fireteam and a decent buff to defensive Moderator Cores. Bio-immunity also gives you and option for using her as Point in a Fireteam with a Healer and be able to mitigate Shock AROs.

IE use the opportunity to buff Mods and Observance.

Neither of them needs to be a specialist, but adding SO won't hurt them.

The real problem with speculation along these lines is its impossible without knowing what other changes are coming to Bakunin. For instance, if we get linkable Lunokhods (for TMs, Observance and Moderators even if not for Grrls) that fills some of the holes in these Fireteams (principally it adds top rate close in defence organic to the Fireteam). Paired with Wildcard Clockmakers this adds a resilience that our not-Grrls Fireteams presently lack.
