Superjump in some AD: Combat Jump troopers would have been great. Maybe not all of the, but in some.

AD3+ having feather fall effect of Super-Jump would be a good QOL change, though. Those bastards sometimes gets stuck on tall scenery due to dispersion.

Ok here's my next What If...
What if: everything across the board got +1 to ARM with no price increase and no changes to weapon damages?

    No. Just no.

Jotum would be far too close to unkillable. For many other units it would be an interesting change, not necessarily good but interesting, however certain units are already ridiculous with the ARM level they have. Mainly Jotum, Maruts, Avatar and Jerkilles. The latter mostly due to size:ARM ratio

Good points. It would make some of the lower ARM troops a little better and arguably worth thier points, but the high ARM would be way to powerful. Though those could still get it but with a boost to points?

It's not like a Kuang Shi or a Fusilier pays many points for their ARM level (0 and 1 respectively)

Let me toss that one back at you: what if ARM cost scaling started one point later? Roughly speaking that's each model getting their ARM minus one or two cheaper across the board. (There may be discount interactions with MI, HI, TAG or Fury that I'm not fully aware of)

I'd rather not see a change in points but get something better out of it. How about: all with ARM 6 or less, get +1 ARM?

Higher ARM across the board means more rolls end with nothing happening.

More rolls ending with nothing happening means a higher chance of stalemates and boring games.

Standard weapons get further devalued making troopers without AP or SWC weapons less appealing.

Add that to the fact that many metas already gravitate to larger numbers of low ARM troopers you're not even going to change list composition that much.

Remember, for CB, the expensive ones can get that kind of "all around the table buffs" for free, but the cheap ones must pay. I don't know if I want to see an ARM10 avatar with no increase cost but an ARM1 moderator for 10-11 points
