And will continue calling them veterans (the troop category is not very used, only in 2 or 3 missions so is is not relevant here now) But also, I didn't say that veterans were the only option, just theost obvious. Remember that those factions have things that tunguska has problems too (smoke combo, warbands, TOs and so). So maybe jammer in there is to make up for that
Timely reminder that this topic wasn’t about removing jammers from factions. Or totally nerfing the area denial tactical function. It’s more about the fact it uses the isolated state which is s very debilitating state. Flash pulses function very well at blunting attacks. Hacking devices should have powerful tools like oblivion. Jammers ideally would fall in the middle, rather than being a better version of oblivion with none of the downsides.

Other ways of dealing with the problem that Jammers create - though some, of course, deny that Jammers are a problem to the rules and content structure of Infinity.
Eleven pages of “discussing” a weapon that exists on three troops in the entire game (four-ish if you count Kriigels and someone using SumbioBombs) and that has countermeasures.
A weapon or rules item can exist on a single profile in the game (SymbioMates on Kaeltars, for example) and still be faction or meta defining. Jammers were still a problem when only Ghazis have them.
Idk why people even reply to this guy (mao) at all tbh, nine posts out of ten are nothing but relentless shilling for the current status quo and denying almost any problems because thats where cb has left the game currently.
Perhaps for similar reasons to why people reply to relentless denigrating of the game by those who allegedly enjoy it? Perhaps? After all, we can each approach it in different ways... if the unceasing negativity of some is a valid approach, my willful blindness to the (overblown) “defects” is as well...
So many of you would benefit from playing Checkers instead of Infinity. I hear the rules are simple and there’s no jammers.
