The sub-section on Mongol Resurgence is written directly following the section on the Invincible Army and immediately prior to the sub-section on the formation of the Huang Di. Take from that as you will, but a potential Mongol hacking-centric motorcycle unit would not be outlandish as an Invincible Army unit nor as a White Banner unit. Obviously, the former is in pretty dire need of an overhaul and is in particular missing hacking assets, while the latter is in excellent shape.

Neither Uprising nor the N4 book makes very extensive mention of the every-day life under JSA rule; there's probably more of that in the RPG books.
Uprising does mention that life for the ordinary citizen in pre-StateEmpire rule was pretty harsh and trending for the worst, meaning that the StateEmpire taking over was actually a bit of a turn for the better for the great masses, in spite of being second rate citizenry. It also mentions the quality of life now trending back towards the elitist neo-feudal ways of old.
Those who remain behind in StateEmpire territory faces the dual faced prospects of having next to no prospects of restitution if they are the collateral to Imperial Service actions, but also a StateEmpire that has learned that the cause of an uprising has at least two sides culpable and as such will probably take the egalitarian integration more seriously. I believe that this, too, is featured better in the RPG books.

Finally, while it is entirely true that Yu Jing leadership routinely treated the Nipponese with a fair bit of contempt, often selecting them for suicide missions or accepting them as collateral blue on blue during large area strikes, the Kuge are not much better. In fact, the BlackHand has the knowledge of exactly who among the Kuge saw to it that a heroine JSA general suffered a large scale catastrophic decompression in space because she got too influential. The Kuge are also noted as being, if anything, even more callous about the lives of non-aristocratic soldiers than their former StateEmpire generals - every mission is now a suicide mission.

It's not unfair to say that life's turned pretty shit if you're non-Kuge Nipponese, regardless of what side of the divide you're in.

I know I'm late to the party. Just wanted to point out that WB, SWF, and WC had their Fluff covered in the N4 core book.

Yes it was mentioned. I was. under the wrong impression that N4 had nothing new. So far some friends don't have it to borrow either.

Not bad. Without commenting on specific MODs, the general gist of it is fairly faithful to Yu Jingse stuff, though not so sure about the Berserk. We do have non-Impetuous bikes, the 112, so that's also a possibility (well... or risk, considering how the FAQ works).

As a small aside, while Nomads and CA tend to have high quality hacking devices with upgrades and Aleph and CA tends to have high quality hackers as their gimmicks, I wouldn't mind if a Yu Jing gimmick was more along the lines of multi-purpose, by giving a decently basic hacker a non-standard gun for a such a loadout; Red Fury is a good example.

Phys 12 and natural Born warrior is a stange combination. Without martial arts the damage in CC would be 12. So like really unreliable. And yu ying can't have any NBW troops except for one character even if it is still considered as the meelee faction somehow. I Mean corregidor and ramah have way better cc troopers. Even JSA and steel aren't the meelee factions anymord will all that NBW going around.
NBW is one of those rules that is kinder unnecessary. You could simple compare MA levels and the Boni are given to the one with higher MA. Because as it is there is no reason for MA 3 or 4 to exist except the additional phys for dmg. Enough derailing of topic...

There could be two biker units one the Light Archers and hackers and another lancer unit that Acts as Shock troopers.
So a LI/MI and one HI with Focus on cc but a slower bike.
And don't forget cute cyberhawks as throwable repeaters or wild parrots

I thought of them as fast moving shooters that just happened to have good CC.
