Only starting from today, i was well disposed to give up after the last NWI nerf aimed straight at the Asura, but now i'm cautiously optimistic
The Soldier in your screenshot has exacly the pose I am refering to here : "just hold the damn thing, or wrap your arm to your other shoulder and rest it between the forearm and the biceps." I should have said elbow instead of trying to explain it with vague anatomy descriptions :p
Think you're going to be disappointed. Compare the new Naga Sniper to the old one, and you'll see all the similarities. She's even got the goggles up on her head. Maybe repacking the old models was just temporary, and they eventually be phased out? Stranger things have happened.
Maybe they'll change the Naga dual blister to Hacker+Monomines now the vanilla starter is going OOP. Or we're due some other new Naga sculpts.
They might keep both - depends on the box exclusive. I'm thinking that the new MSR Naga is going to be a nice mk2 proxy proxy however ;)
Naga is probably the box exclusive for Aleph. YJ has the same deal with Ninjas going on, a box exclusive in red veil and then two older sculpts have been repacked.
Just a thought regarding the asura : will she keep her hacking device plus or will she receive an other hacking device (while keeping cybermask) ?
Well in the end Aleph-weapondesign and some poses are plain unrealistic anyway - and yes I know, we're talking about a fantasy game here ; ) The rifle butt from the MSR as well as the Combi Rifle is way too short to reach the shoulder, so these weapons mustn't have any recoil (still would prefer a funktional rifle butt then). The lowered scope on the Naga MSR is also blocked by the rear end of the gun. I just pretend those are zero recoil weapons without any need to aim through the scope, since a cyborg should be able to gain data from the weapon via datalink or stuff like that. But jeah, it's a shame CB didn't use the opportunity to redesign those weapons like they did with the beautiful BSG or the Securitate Combirifle that has finally a pulled out rifle butt. God, that pose is just so wrong ^^
Totally called it many pages back lol. Still putting a few quid on the other profiles getting upgunned: multi marksman/plasma/Feuerbach as new options are within imagination
