It may have been older than the popularization of surfing but it pretty much defined surf music by Dick Dale. That was a fantastic version of it too. RyG can do no wrong. lol Glim Spanky and Winnie are now my new Japanese loves. Almost as much as Band-Maid. That translated video with Miku singing is a lot of fun. I swear they could be their own anime.

I remember this game's soundtrack. It stands out among the rest of the Metal Gear series and the lyrics seem to convey the boss' thoughts/feelings and carry a message with it.
I've always found the MGS series to be overly pretentious bullshit wrapped in a fun and engaging gameplay. But you are damn right about this soundtrack. I've been listening to it a lot and I love how it manages to be bizarrely poetic while still being a pop rock cheesy track that would be right at home in a B-movie.
Onset was republished last night to join the date cancellation, so it was the perfect excuse to send it to the tv during breakfast. It ended that the whole channel will paly by itself so I declared this morning a B-M morning and it won't stop until the full playlist is done.

Having lived in Japan before, I do sometimes miss the weird and creative mash up of genres in their media arts. I'm out of touch with what's current in Japan so I don't know Band-Maid, but their image is amazingly appropriate for a cyberpunk setting.
