So I'm not the only one who's been having problems with youtube. What would cause this huge video blackout? I wonder...
They broke something. Many jokes to pick from: -They accidentally content id'ed and banned themselves. -They accidentally flagged the whole site unsuitable for advertisers. -They all mysteriously went to Canada. -They tried banning the biggest enablers of fake news and conspiracy theories via an algorithm, which determined that YouTube itself qualified and was banned. -They just used their usual competence. -Russian hackers did it. -Saudi Arabia accidentally killed the site "interrogating" it (too soon?).
@Del S Maybe Chinese hackers did it considering real life China has been making a push to become a Yu Jing type of nation in the past decade. Now that Youtube is back up we might never know what the real cause was.
