Joan with what?!? No I don’t think I want to know. Can you get the box with something to replace the Joan mini? Something more useful? Pre-popped bubble wrap Second hand chewing gum something like that? Also, I wasn’t describing BoW as unreliable, I was referring to forums.
Given that it's an official CB picture, it was in circulation for some time now, and the forums are usually very quick to catch on to the news, I don't know how much more reliable it can be. Hell, MRifle Joan mini is almost a year old, it was released in November 2017, and there was a whole shitstorm about the Tactical Molester Umbra. And that's the problem with repacks, there's always something in there that a potential buyer already has/doesn't need/doesn't like.
I actually played a list as a joke last weekend of eight TOFOSS one TO MSR SS and one Knight of the Holy Sepulcre holo echoing as Joan. It was fun.
Yes I will admit that fora are usually quick to pick up facts but unfortunately they are just as quick to pick up BS and since I don’t have the time or connections to be sure which is which I take the whole lot with a very large pinch of salt. No Tohaa reference intended. It is why I would trust something on the CB website more and I have not been able to find a squeak there.
Because CB, for some reason, uses third parties - like BoW - to spread news, without publishing anything on their own website. So you might learn about the upcoming schedule from other sources, for the official article to be posted only after teh release itself.
Unfortunately I don’t have the free time to camp on every potential data source 24/7 and articles seem to get buried very quickly on BoW if you don’t hang on their every electronic breath.
That's the problem with Joan of Arc not coming in a box/blister of both models...it could have been a Father-Knight in her spot instead.
If mine gets wildcard and some not awful weapon/specialist options to not seem like a poor gimp version of a vet kazak but worse in every metric, I may be content. Most of my hate for models having poor rules/profiles stems from the fact that said models look AWESOME, but I also don't like losing/being unable to give my opponent an actual game/challenge due to sub-par, outdated, poorly enacted rules :D
Untill you realize that taking Joan instead of KotHS would be better. And that your opoonent knew should know that you dont have a true Joan as soon as single TOFOOS drops the marker state.
They've recently rebranded as "On Table Top" to reflect the increased coverage of board games, RPG's and the like. Have a snazzy new website, logo and everything.
I propose that qualified sh**posters on here make it known in their signatures that they/we cause fire damage :P
I like everything in that MO box. (Everything but Joan's left leg) I am sorely tempted. But with one of my other favorite factions getting some updates soon (Aleph), not sure if I can fit it in the budget. Maybe a Christmas gift?
