Usually they are not.

 

The bullet has too much force behind it anyway. I was thinking more things like the moving parts of the action, or possibly the magazine getting stuck in the well.

 

I reckon they're mostly made from advanced non-metallic materials tbh.

 

But probably not for the Ariadnan AKNovy Yarost-1, right? Because of Ariadna's generally lower tech level? Which is the weapon that didn't work in vacuum and necessitated the release of the Yarost-2.

 

I think they are from rather traditional material. But that should be not that much of a problem. At least in my imagination, Ariadnan Troops are seldom involved in Spaceship Boarding or EVA fights.

 

Doesn't Aleph make extensive use of leased Ariadnan security to bolster their boots-on-the-ground (or hull) due to their largely impartial stance towards conflicts between the spacefaring super powers?

The Wotan station had Ariadna troops defending it, but I thought that was an O12 station, not Aleph.

 

You are correct, I got Aleph and O-12 mixed up. However, this doesn't necessarily mean they get deployed in Space in Space, it could mean their inter-planetary commitments is limited to pressurized areas for the vast part?
