What it says on the tin. Recent changes to NCA The new VIRD units and their effect on vanilla MO looking almost entirely re-worked. A lot of our old rulebook looks to potentially need to be thrown out. And while its not all good (montessa looking at you) Overall the changes seem good for us, and CB even managed to give us a new way of playing shoot em more (the sheer amount of reactive VIRD options is nuts) Interesting times indeed
Over the last year weve got the new csu the new deva aida. Its not as major a rework as MO just got. But the deva alone opens up a lot of new options
Yes we are. And it feels great ^^ Oh boy even if I manage to get money for all this stuff, my painting schedule will be in ruins ......
the best part is that all of the old ways of play are still there. The whole faction got upended and somehow managed to keep the play style and the theme and the overall feel. Surprisingly well done, that’s not a feat many game companies can boast about.
I fully agree with @MrNailbrain Honestly, i sold my ASA at the start of the summer, and now I'm regretting it. The guy i sold it too is super stoked about it. I think, personally, this is a great move. Awesome work, CB. :D
I'm so happy that there is finally some positivity in the PanO forums! These changes are very exciting, and my mind is racing trying to think of all the possible lists.
I was not expecting such love for ASA before it went into the good night. Pretty amazing. Also, very interesting the Tik is showing up in MO, the Squalo is showing up in Varuna. Cynically we can say its just CB planting the seeds for us to want to own everything in the factions range. However, I'm choosing to believe, that unless told otherwise, this will be part of a new angle to PanO design. High-tech faction also shares the high-tech between the sectorials. But this could just be me wishing for more tags in NCA for no reason other than model lust. Although I'm not sure fluff-wise, why MO gets Dart... Agree about the implications of the Devas in NCA. At first I thought it was not a big deal. But then after going back and going through the profiles more carefully, suddenly list building with a Deva is very hard XD But overall yeah, all this news is blowing the salt right out of these crypts. Hopefully the enthusiasm keeps up!
Do you think VIRD might make SAA obsolete gameplay wise? Being the newbie that I am, the two sectorials look a bit similar to me (Orc, Kamau/Bagh, Reg/Fusi mixed links + midfield deployment).
Some might say the HRMC is a compelling argument for no. Likewise the Cutter and Squalo are beasts, but they ain't no Tik. VIRD also doesn't have access to smoke or a BS 15 gunfighter outside of a TAG or link AFAIK.
I'm hyped as hell too. What's interesting is the amount of cross-force integration. Aleph units are one thing, but Montesa invading more sectorial, Black Friars, Tikbalangs... I like it, it shows PanO as a unified military force. Wysłane z mojego Lenovo A6020a40 przy użyciu Tapatalka
Man, ever since N3 its felt like Pano has gotten kicked down a peg. But now we are back baby, stronger than ever! It feels so good to finally have some interesting new options for generic Pano. But most of all, MO finally looks great. MO has always been the bastard step child of Pano, with quite a few problems. But they are finally being fixed. The reworked wildcat Santiago is just amazing and looks like its only the beginning. 2019 shall be the YEAR OF PANO. DEUS VULT!
The Santiago KHD is amazing. The mod game it plays is pretty stellar. Psuedo lightning/maestro due to the tinbot and a small boost to trinity if you want to use it. With d-charges, being hi and a vet troop it's a classified objective monster!
