I think that maybe a whole "Host of Avian Mutations" could really explore fully this idea; maybe if Bird-People of the "Warrior Raven Clan" are not a thing for the Game Universe, maybe something like a "Native American Crow Totem Lodge of Braves" or "Celtic Druidic Shamen of Morrigan" could do the trick. . . Rank-&-File would be like the "Crow Masked Warband" Troops of Warhammer, with just "Plague Doctor Helms" and typical weapons (One Handed and Two Handed "Becs De Corbin" are a must !!) while more powerful Champions and Heroes more able to "Channel Corvidae Magicks" to acquire more Avian Features that could have significant effects on the Gameplay. . . Not only obvious Arm-Wings or Feathered Pinions sprouting from the backs, granting something Rule-Similar to Infinity Superjump or "Paratroopers Advanced Deployement", but also Eye-Plucking Beaks and Avian Taloned Feets and Clawed Hands. . . Also if "Warbeasts & Swarms" will be considered for this Fantasy Wargame then Giant Ravens (that could be perhaps also ridden in Battle as "Flying Cavalry" ??) would be interesting; also differentiating Swarm Base Sizes between a "Murder Of Crows", an "Unkindness Of Ravens" and some other "Flock Of Big Avian Predators" (such as some kind of Black Feathered kind of Royal Eagles or Giant Condors). . . . . . . . Also if those HYPOTHETHICAL "War Crow Race / Culture" will feature also Heavy Armoured Knights, for a parallel project I'm exploring some ideas about a "Bird-Face Masked Cavalier" that will have a Beaked Helmet and maybe Pauldrons and other Armourplates reminiscent of Crow Skulls and Ravenheads; will put it in the Fanart Section to explore those ideas, hopefully even if these aren't useful for the Wargame could be inspirational for something else. . .
Something about that, maybe also inspired by the "Corvus Heresy Era" Helmets of Adeptus Astartes Space Marines (especially "Raven Guard" Chapter) for the more advanced technologically. . . Also found some Rough Concept Art pertaining the new Marvel Show of "Moon Knight" where the Patron Egyptian Deity of the protagonist Marc Spector (that inspired a certain Mercenary of Infinity), the Lunar God "Khonshu", sometimes shown with a "Corvidae Skull" as face. . . Also could do for a very cool shape for Full-Plate Knightsuits Shoulder Pauldrons. . .

While basic and rough, those Sketches are invaluably useful to understand the style that CB could be aiming for. . . While I think it will be perfectly original and special, I feel (in a Positive Way) vibes from "Dragon Age Inquisition", Diablo, Warcraft and obviously Confrontation. . . Too early to understand the "Eventual Steampunk Level of Technology" to see if there will be some resemblances with "Warmachine, from Privateer Press" or "Age Of Sigmar" (especially the Skavens or the "Aether Dwarves" that have essentially "Magic Spaceships"). . . About the "Religious Zealot Faction" of Humans (?) then CB is a Spanish House; the history of Spain is repleted with EXTRA Cool Ideas and Inspirationals from the Middle Age; while Torquemada and the Inquisition "Puritan Zealots" could represent "The Darkest Of The Dark Age" let's not forget Heroes like "El Cid Campeador" (for Heavy Paladin Knights), "El Capitano Alatriste" (for Roguish Swashbucklers) or the various Caribbean Pirates of Spanish Heritage. . . The "Moorish Kingdom Of Grenada" is a potentially sensible issue, but Corvus Belli has yet approached the subjetc very tactfully with Infinity Haqqislam so I think will not be a problem. . . Some "Holy Fortress" made with the style of the "Sagrada Familia" of Barcelona (as if Gaudi was an Architect of Medieval Castles) would be extra cool as well. . .
Mandatory reminder that the Spanish Inquisition was pretty tame when compared to the Inquisition in other European countries.
Also a reminder that the Monty Python sketch about the Spanish Inquisition was first aired over 50 years ago…
That's a Bit of Fry and Laurie, not Monty Python. Sketch shows have always been a staple of UK comedy TV, probably due to the influence of music hall and variety theatre entertainment on early TV and Radio programmes, starting with the Goon show (or as the slightly baffled announcer first introduced it, the Go On show)
