Which reminds me, if I get my pals round again I'll need to dig out the Dreamcast and fire up Tech Romancer for some mad, mecha combat. I played that game a lot back in the day. Quite clever of them to have a minigame on the memory card too, which actually helped unlock more in the main game.
For that matter, I should probably link this post for those who want to get the game. Sidebar of that subreddit also includes links to game's wiki and discord channel.
Anyone remember the Playstation version of that? *watches tumbleweed pass* Yeah that's what I thought. Sony claimed that it was selling so well in japan that they couldn't sell them in America and Europe without causing a shortage. Of coarse it was such a popular device that the PS2 version was the default memory card for the console. Oh wait no, they dropped it after 6 months when the PS2 launched, then replaced it with the little shuriken launcher they called a PSP. Then there was the Vita. If you look at the handhelds you begin to wonder why sega went bust and not sony...
BTW - ther is ICO it is somehow a part 2 of SOTC - or rather a what happend in the futoure BUT do not rush and buy a remaster from 2013 it is lazy and bad made one and from what i hear there is incoming a high Quality Remade by same ppl who made SOTC 2018 - so i would say w8 on new Remade ICO 2018/2019 ?(remaster from 2013 is just upscaled old game and is clunky as fuck )
Shadow of the Colossus was console only, so I had no chance to play it. But there's something similar in the works for PC, Praey for the Gods.
Just recently finished Zombie Army Trilogy. It was a pretty good game and i'm enjoying playing the horde levels. Bouncing back to Dying Light for a bit now (love me some zombie games!). Just downloaded Onigiri and played for about 10 minutes. I'm undecided on whether it's cool or crap. I'll play some more later... lol!
Well, I went and gone and done and bought 40k: Armageddon since it was on sale at £7.50 Enjoying it so far, though slightly disappointing that a modern game that needs 1GB RAM didn't manage any unit animations beyond muzzle flashes and impacts, where Final Lib from 1995 has movement animations and wreckage . It's also amusing listening to the voice actors all pronouncing the same words differently, like Schola pronounced as "skola" and "skshola".
Currently playing Tyranny. Because working for the BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy) is always funny... except if you betray him, that's even funnier!
I picked up Into the Breach despite bouncing off FTL and wow, ItB is really, really good! I also picked up Nier: Autotomato because it's on 50% off and I've wanted to play it for a little while. Eventually I'll get around to playing The Phantom Pain, or DX: Mankind Divided.
Nah, it was only middle point. But second part is a bit rushed to be great. Also I don`t own PS3 so no MGS4 for me((
Anyone know if KOTOR 2 on Steam has that big patch from a few years ago or do I need to download that separately?
