I just discovered a game called "Remothered" which apparently came out a year ago – its a spiritual successor to the Clock Tower series, which I absolutely loved.
Damn im pushing this game to all around and you get it at last :P (there is GRIS ahead ) Celeste is a bit more of just a game but ye it is a "a bit to retro " pixel style for my taste never less game is very responsive so no irytacion .. it is not Super meat boy or They bleed pixels lvl of difficulty. and Guacamole 2 is less a "2 " more of a 1,5 or expansion to "Guascamole super turbo champion ed " Remother got a mixed reviews some ppl love it for Clock tower feel other despise it for same ;) o and 50% off on GoG
remind me when you hear this music :) caind off story is following up events like a many years, and there are some new things .. from Ori .. o and you can get up to 4 ppl multi :) but basicly is more of same
I recently found these games good for those who want a realistic experience instead of the stuff that comes out every year. https://warofrights.com https://warofrights.com/Fieldreport41 https://worldwar3.com/en/index/ http://postscriptumgame.com There are plenty of videos on youtube if you want to check the gameplay out.
Stardock basically lost their claim that they own the copyrights to Star Control I and II. They now have to remove the offending copyrighted content from the game (almost 90% of the game) or remove it from sale and refund all prepurchases. Victory for justice!
I've been trying to play more of Battlefleet Gothic. Thought I'd at least have a go at completing it before the next one is released. I get the feeling I'm not playing it right. I've mostly been playing cruiser-clash and end up facing Space Marines. Often it ends up with the ships so close they're bashing into each other and my fleet gets blown to bits. Maybe I should have my cruisers ram the enemy a bit more?
Recently finished (well, at least the first run) Detroid Become Human. I really enjoyed it, one of the best I've played on 2018. Now I'll focus on Spider-man's DLC contents and start Astro Bot Rescue Mission. I bought PSVR on Christmas and it's surprisingly nice!
Lately I've been playing a lot "Valkyria Chronicles", one of the many games that I started but never finished, and I'm very close to finish it. Despite its (many) flaws, I'm enjoying the game. Has anyone played "Valkyria Chronicles 4", the other one available for PC?
Got the new Battletech game for Xmas, lots of great mech-on-mech action and really satisfying combat animations. It still has the problem I've had with most Mechwarrior/Battletech VGs where there's little reason not to take the heaviest mechs possible. It tries to make lighter mechs worthwhile by letting them act first and be LRM spotters with the sensor lock skill, but it's not worth the loss of armour and weaponry, the fact you're limited to 4 mechs in a mission doesn't help either as you can't swarm. Still fun though, turn-based tactics with RPG-lite progression and a strategic overlayer is my jam, and it's a nice change of pace and scale from X-Com and Jagged Alliance 2 1.13
Just finished "Remothered" with my girlfriend and it was a banger from start to finish. Jesus that story was absolutely crazy, but it really was a great call back to survival horror of old. More recently I've been getting into 2d horror pixel games like Lone survivor (which kind of sucked), The long Reach (which was great, really nice 90s adventure game feel), The Count Lucanor (awesome game, I really hope the other game the developers made comes to PS4), and Claire (which also kind of sucked)
I played the demo on switch. Seemed pretty solid. Much more involved squad management than Chronicles (or what I remember of Chronicles). I didn't pick it up at launch though because the reviews seemed to indicate that later missions do some cheesy bullshit like teleport/spawn enemies behind your lines. Waiting for it to be cheaper. New grenadier class is fun though.
