So Varuna will probably be: infiltration (and possibly camo) heavy (Crocs, Cobras look like skirmishers, same goes for Helots. Echos are a form of forward deployment too), firepower-heavy (Marksmen, RFs, various Rocket Launchers, also let's remember about Cutter)... we'll see.
One thing that bothers me: Kamau HRL and MSR in the starter. Which means no SWC box. Additionally, only one Combi will make collecting full Kamau link so fun...

Don't get too excited. The Echo Bravos will probably have an SWC tax in generic Pano, rendering it a nice thing that is only ava in Pano for its sectorial, like Dart for SAA. Of course, I hope its otherwise and generic Pano get a slew of new and interesting units from Varuna. I've just got no reason to believe that.
It's looking really good! Kamau core still look really expensive in points for ILs. But looks like it will be worth it. Red furys and marksman rifles! And looks like they're wielded by interesting troops with cool concepts. Really looking forward for it. Icestorm Orc is a great miniature. So having good loadouts, fireteam options and new miniatures... Sounds awesome. I hope for an affordable and useful Haris where you can put that Feuerbach. New crocman finally!! An AD troop with red fury sounds great, as long as the SWC cost is low like it already happens with other troops (Xeodron red fury 1 SWC). Also LRL... I really can see that causing chaos on the enemy. A visor would mostly make it more expensive and won't be that much useful in my opinion, but it doesn't look like an unreasonable "tax" for such a troop... If the SWC doesn't go crazily expensive, that's it. Zulu Cobra... Is it a "cheaper crocman"? Looks like some kind of infiltrator to me. Maybe with camouflage? No idea about the Helot. But I'm happy we are getting something so unique. It would be great if that uniqueness also translate into their rules, but I think it won't be so horrible if they are the basic troop for Varuna. No fusiliers here, only Helot fireteam core, having a cheap basic profile of 10-12 points. Edit: SWC :)
Something of note, Carlos said that the Helots would have something "PanO does not usually have access to" and then under his breath he said "Camo."
Also convenient time for Varuna to appear. I was already planning to grab Icestorm and Beyond sometime around late November... so yay for extra options. Although some other news has sort of made it so I won't be expanding much beyond that and what few things I'm grabbing for Ikari... Since, y'know... There's three new HI and an entire HI sectorial waiting for me next year.
My guess is that Helots will have camo but not infiltration. Which still makes them an interesting unit for Pano.
Are we ignoring the fact that there will be a cutter with link teams and possibly AVA 3 Fugazi? Cutter with midfield presence, so it won't be too easy to counter it at short range (no HFT, can we get the HFT back there please?) sounds nice. Though everything seems to be expensive (Kamau, Croc man are expensive for sure) in Varuna, so not sure how much support will be left here. What's CAP?
I think it's Spanish for SWC. Even at the usual 1.5 Red Fury will be worth it. I wouldn't hold my breath for a discount if Echo will have standard BS 13.
Sooo what's nice in AD visor guy? And may we sure this is a visor, actually?:) TBH i'm more excited with combi and combi+lsg being 2 different options here. Best case scenario we'll have plain combi option for other MI's like BM or Bolts to make fireteams cheaper.
