Is it me, or is it something common. I play Bakunin, and when I look at Vanilla lists I search for Bakunin units. I see Morlocks and Zeros, rarely Zoe&Piwell. I don't count Dactari or Clockmakers since they are aslo available in Corregidor. Why Bakunin units are so underrepsesented in Vanilla?
@Tom McTrouble lists look good to me! @konuhageruke when you play vanilla your advantage is to pick the units that fit your needs, or that provide powerful synergies. A Moria hmg is powerful, but an intruder hmg paired with smoke is more powerful, at least on offense, and sometimes on defense too. Zeros and Morlocks are the best at what they do in Vanilla. Zeros are bare bones camo infiltraitors that are specialists and even cheap enough to cheer lead, when they don't have anything to do. Morlocks provide smoke coverage nearly twice as well as jaguars, and are disposable chaff that make excellent corner guards. They're an exceptional unit. Many other units get passed over for more optimized profiles. The custodiers hd+ lt is good but expensive, and the low bts makes her very vulnerable to killer hackers. The interventor is cheaper and generally easier to protect so you see her in vanilla lists more often. The swast generally are weaker attack pieces than Kriza, Intruders, Moria, or tags, and more expensive than budget HI like Brigada. To justify taking them you need to make use of their unique abilities. Hmg swast have little good to say about them, the BS and HRL swast at least have useful niches, the red fury swast is IMO amazing, even in vanilla. Pi Well is amazing, but Zoe is IMO mediocre. A regular hacking device and low BTS makes her vulnerable. Shes very expensive, but only 1 wound and doesnt have any defensive abilities. I actuall wish she were cheaper and only an engineer. She also has an old ugly model, I think she'll become more common when her resculpt is released. Really it's a matter of some profiles really shining only in a sectorial, and it's not unique to just bakunin, you probably rarely see grenzers or wildcats in vanilla for the same reasons.

(0 | 9) 5.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army It occurs to me that having a follow-up to Bran do is pretty important. @konuhageruke You see zeroes all the time because they are so cost effective for what they do. I am currently trying to break myself into using Morlocks, I never used to before because I didn't like irregular orders. As far as Zoe and Pi-well goes, they are incredible and I usually take them in Vanilla. I just didn't in the first list because of the liability of having specialists. Zoe is good, but ultimately is a tax to take Pi-Well. If you could take Pi-Well alone for even like 28 points, I bet you she would be seen all the time.
