Valeryia's Skeleton Key stats that Character's may straighten and flip over their specialty cards. I assumed that using specialty cards was allowed only during that active character's turn. I.e., you can't use you Novice Fusiler displace ability during another character or enemy's turn. So if you can only rotate and flip specialty cards on your activation; this ability of Skeleton key is pretty useless, save for Valeryia. If you can use specialties outside of your activation, then you can potentially use displace to dodge into out of range of attacks. Escorts: John Hawkwood's specialty Combat Unit Recruit says he can recruit a Regular Trooper. I've gone through all the cards and find no Regular Troopers. What is a regular trooper? (Edit) Ally cards have descriptions whether they are Regular, Religious, or Elite at the bottom. Escort rules are in the Outcast Campaign book and are treating as Synchronized.
