I have trouble figuring out where to store them at home and you wanted to pack this into a suitcase? First world problems. Seems I'll need to shift around some books. Lucky that I don't usually invest in boardgames. My shelves are stacked enough as it is.
According to the discord, people are starting to receive notifications in Europe, we will soon know if the wait will result in defiance or renewed interest in cb kickstarter : https://discord.com/channels/118301609146056709/893982301392883712/1154405640492556351
One of our french youtubers by the name of Starpu, did a review of his pledge, he showed all the stuff as well as the inside of the booklets, a priori no more spanglish problems (remember to start auto subtitling). - The game is inspired largely by C1. - The game has a lot of rules for a boardgame. - The miniatures are of good quality but inferior to siocast, the megabeasts are huge. - The material is highly recyclable for infinity. - Set storage could be a long-term problem if you can't store them mounted somewhere and have to reassemble/dismount them to put them back in the box, as the cardboard could get damaged. There are definitely not enough Teseum cubes, that's my biggest complaint after our game yesterday. Also having the company name on the miner cards, not just the logo, would have been nice. Otherwise it was a lot of fun. It's about as fast as the N4/C1 engine can be, I played with Infinity newbies and they got the hang of it pretty quickly. If someone gets a lead they become a Target, which means they're likely to drop half their neomaterials giving a nice ebb and flow to the scoring. I'm looking forwards to trying out the extra miners and maybe the campaign. I've got to wait another month and a bit for my Search & Capture and Steindrage to arrive though, so we'll just be playing with Stoorworm or Megalodron for now, and no beasthunters yet.
Got a video up about the content of the Core Box and some of my thoughts on the game and its content. I am overly happy with everything, but there are some sour points in regards to mistakes on cards and a lack of teseum cubes.
They just came out in today's update! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/corvusbelli/infinity-deathmatch-tag-raid/posts/3975695
