My guess is that 3rd offensive is not immediately relevant to them. They might be in the next book. Bostria's "sooner than you think" makes me think Q1 2019.

Irregular Frenzy SMG. That's three major discounts. Limited Camo rather than Camo and FD2 rather than Infiltrate are another two. I actually had it pegged for Inferior Infiltration. Which would have been hilarious.
Only plays for Generic though, so no sectorials. You want this AVA 8pt dude you gotta give up all your fireteams.
Wow, that profile is stupid OP. Sorry @Stiopa He can almost auto dodge perimeter weapons from the start due to FD:2 and Hyper Dynamics. Marker state, decent BS which is compensated by close range cost efficient weapons. zero bloat on ARM, WIP, BTS, CC or any stats he will never use. Massive discounts across the board and even Dogged as well as surprise attack to boot. This may be the most cost efficient unit in the game IMO.
Compare this guy to the Krakot for 15pts, you gain certain doged, 4" of extra deployment, marker state, anti-armour weapon while still having template and smg. All this for trading CC capabilities and a discount of 7pts. Hyper-dinamicsL2 with FD2 resolve all the problems with crazy koalas/mad traps.
Is it overpowered, or is this just confirming what everyone already knew that CC stats are shit and overpriced?
I think it is more about this profile, no rules bloat, just great skills/weapons, it is just way too cheap in my opinion. Example with Krakot is really great since Krakot is already one of the best cost-effective profile in the game. Now we get an even better one...
It's a BS11 Irregular Trooper with an SMG. It has basically one good attack (Surprise Shot) after that it's not exactly great. It'll struggle to actively win any firefights outside of 8". Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely including one in my Vanilla lists but I expect 90% of the time I'll use it to clear mines / perimeter items and then sit on Suppression in the Midfield to catch Extremely Impetuous troops. Which is great for 8pts, but hardly game breaking OP.
With a massive AVA 1, smaller DTW, and low range weapons in general. Sure, it'll be great at cleaning up minefields and perimeter weapons. Looks like PanO uses "enslaved cannon fodder" Helots in a more responsible, less expendable way than other factions use their "freedom fighters". Krakot is more expensive, but it's also Regular, and with its weapon choices and Berserk can set up much more favorable trades. So I don't see any reason to proclaim the sky is falling. Yeah, I get the feeling they'll be worth it. Especially given Decoy and their weapon choices.
