Yes, the Assault SubSection is the 'official' name, in-universe. Steel Phalanx is the common/public name that's used.
Thanks for the help! My knowledge of the lore is pretty limited. This is just slightly disappointing for me. I was hoping for a new sectorial (in addition to SP) at some point. I would love to see a heavily REM focused sectorial with some new REM profiles.
Of course! Also, it sounds like you're describing the Support SubSection, which is the third arm of ALEPH's Special Situations Section (Assault, Support, and Operations). The Support SubSection is essentially the REM suite of ALEPH (Zayin, Daleth, Lamedh, etc.), but I would be surprised to see it as it's own Sectorial, since they are represented in vanilla, Phalanx, and OperationS already. I would certainly be happy to have more REM options, but I doubt it will result in a Sectorial.
I don't believe in an SSS sectorial, that's a bit like saying you get to play a logistics company in a wargame. I could see more SSS models like the Sophotect appearing but it is a weird source for a sectorial. I believe more in a Chandra sectorial. We know they are separate from OSS, and I feel that the White Company may be an indication. It is styled as a front for Chandra and as a combination of NA2 and ALEPH, but there is only a single ALEPH model in it, the Danavas. I could see a new action pack or Operation coming with some five or six new units that slot into WC and together with some exiating ALEPH units make a new sevtorial like Kosmoflot.
Holy shit Patroclus is absolutely insane. He does everything now. DAM16 HMG with surprise attack? Got it. Great CC? Got it. Specialist while also optimizing orders cause NCO? Also got it. Also, I'm not sure forward deployment Ajax is the best option but it certainly is the most fun.
she is the biggest winner so far of the heroes that ive read through, all she lost was cybermask. ajax finaly got some mimitism, and unfortunately they didnt go through with the thraki 360 buiff.....
I'm gonna bet they didn't know how to solve the Cybermask interaction with the bots so they just removed it

Traded in his Spitfire for a HMG. Lost: ODD/Mimetism Depends on how you feel about it: He's now HI but that new HI discount is sure kicking in hard because oh boy that price tag.

i dont know.. he is a HI with BS 13 with no mods for 55 points.. yes, okay he has NCO.. but not enough for me.. also the hmg just seems out of place in a CC specialist ...
