@Kathara_Khan I'm thinking of commissioning Omegalife myself and these pics make me lean closer to saying yes.
He is a great artist, offers real quality work for a reasonable price, works quickly, and is very responsive and good to work with, I've found. Definitely gets my recommendation. And here's a rough composite scaled group shot I put together, and will be updating as the other girls come in:
Present ass for a kicking! And all together: Made for me by the amazing talented Omegalife, of course. Full-size images available in my DA gallery.
Sigh... Sorry about that. Should have said something sooner. I just don't know if I'll be able to provide any more story updates. Unfortunately, during a computer change, through my own carelessness, I lost my recording of episode 24... And even that aside, I just don't have the strength and will nowadays to do any writing. The seasonal depression isn't helping either. Maybe I'll be able to offer you something once Spring rolls around... But I'm afraid it'll all probably be very abridged and dry from now on, nowhere near the old quality. Those pictures may well end up the final goodbye for the series (in written form at least, we are still playing). Sorry to disappoint all the (four or so) remaining fans...
Don't feel too bad. I think you will be able to get back into the swing of things soon enough. Perhaps when you are ready with your creative juices flowing you can give us a giant update summary on what happened. Then begin on the episode you're currently on when you start writing again. I hope you will be okay regardless and that everyone on your end enjoys the whole campaign. May the Angels succeed in their endeavors and fight well in the arena and out of it.
Nope, still not an update. Sorry. But we've managed to cook up Infinity stats for the Anjos da Rocha, both in their TagSoft and Paintball incarnations. We weren't able to come up with points costs, though. TAGs: Spoiler: Guesstimation base Guesstimations based off of official Pilot / TAG stats. Differences include CC, BS and PH: TAGs strength, targeting software and maneuverability are significant help, but the base is still the pilot’s skill! In case of PH, keep in mind that this includes mainly dodging, jumping and properly landing your CC attacks. Keep in mind the stats provided are for Praxis Refit-standard TAGs (i.e. the variant we're used to in Infinity). Angels of Stone use slightly modified baseline Reptile-series. The REM Control Device bearer may activate more than one G: CS trooper in a single Order. The REM Control Device bearer may instead decide to activate none of his G: CS troopers when he activates with an Order. However, any time the REM Control Device bearer activates a G: CS trooper, if the REM Control Device bearer themselves perform any rolls during that Order, they are all made with a -3 modifier per G: CS trooper activated with that Order. Likewise, once they are Discovered or reveal themselves, they cannot benefit from the CH: Camouflage or CH: Mimetism Special Skills. Civilian/Rookie Hacker As Hacker, but in addition to all other requirements, the user may not declare Hacking Attacks against targets with BTS greater than 0. Equipped with a Civilian Hacking Device, which allow the use of the following Hacking Programs: Blackout, Gotcha!, Lockpicker.
Damn, dude! Also, has anyone made minis for the team yet? Or at least the TAGs since the actual gals are probably going to require dedicated modeling?
And for those wishing to re-create "historical" scenarios, there should be both Human Revolution and Knights of the Round stats coming fairly soon! Well, you go play some games with them, and then tell us. Even though I'm thoroughly out of the minis side of things nowadays, I am sometimes tempted to assemble the TAG team, just for fun... As always though, first we'd need a decent Lizard re-sculpt. And I'm nowhere near skilled enough at conversions to actually give them proper weapons, let alone attempt the girls themselves... Best I could do, is use some properly painted "close enough" minis. Like, to start you off, Hasslefree's Not!LaraCroft, Eve, would make a decent Alex, if you'd ignore the guns akimbo; their Alyx could be a stand-in for Nyree; Gaia, size aside, would be a shoe-in for Morgan; while Widow could do a 'Nique...
Louder than God's revolver, and twice as shiny, here comes DJ 5cr4tch! When not dropping the base, she's dropping your TAGs! And the updated group shot: Made for me by the amazing talented Omegalife, of course. Full-size images available in my DA gallery. You will note no doubt, that like with many things in TAGs of Avalon, I took a bit of a liberty with the Szalamandra Reptile TAG. In this case, in our version of the Infinity-verse, the Szally is a dedicated heavy support unit, an ancestor to the Jotun - a walking mountain of armor and muscle, made to carry the heaviest weapons and survive the heaviest return fire.
When the full-scale robot armor in your garage is not enough, and you really must have a miniature version to put on your shelf at home as well, you know who to call! And the updated group shot: Made for me by the amazing talented Omegalife, of course. Full-size images available in my DA gallery. Still alive... Kinda. Sorry for the silence, anyone who still cares. Things might get better, though it'll be some time yet, I'm afraid.
Beauty and her Beast! Who's ready for PE class? Made for me by the amazing talented Omegalife, of course. Full-size images available in my DA gallery. Since the other Angels need to wait for the Lizard TAG to get a re-sculpt, here's their assistant coach instead, with her own sweet ride. A poor substitute for the still missing next episode, I know. Hopefully, you'll still be able to enjoy it.
@Kathara_Khan (Sees an update to Avalon) "It is alive! At long last...oh. This is just as good." Nice of you to post your art commission. How was working with OmegaLife? I've been tempted to ask for his services but keep putting it off. Your personal experience was a good one? What was he/she like between conversations?
I've got nothing by praise for Omegalife. My interactions with Omegalife have been nothing but pleasant, courteous, and professional. Even when I'm being a difficult customer, asking for nit-picky corrections and re-draws of some elements. (Unlike one called Blazbaroz, who I initially attempted to contract for those commissions, long ago. Definitely don't recommend that one, even aside the very high prices. Stay away. ) The only bad thing I can say, and it's not really their fault, is that it's very hard to actually snag a commission slot from Omegalife. He's simply VERY popular, and the limited openings in his work order (usually 3~4 per month) are usually gone within LITERAL SECONDS of him opening admissions! If you can't be at your computer on the day he opens for business, and at the right hour (usually 12:00 Central), and click "send" on your commission request message immediately, there's pretty much no hope of getting in that month. So far, I only manage to get one from him once every three months or so, on average. It can be rather frustrating sometimes. But at his prices, and his quality, it's no surprise, really, and well-worth waiting for, I think.
