That's a blast from the past. I'd be down to see that. With the Tankhunters, Stretloks and Shukra Consultants all having sectorial-specific choices, I don't see any reason why there can't be a TAK only Doctor Vet Kazak option.
The clearer render pic shows the Paramedic has a medikit pouchy manbag.... could it be he's actually a Doctor? Certainly the mini could be fielded as one. Time will tell what happens ruleswise but the look of him is rather interesting all things considered. Of course, he's also the same torso as the Missile dude so yeah.
I'm gonna go on a limb here and say Doc Zhivago there is gonna be a Kazak doktor. No paramedic profile carries a full blown doctor bag that I'm aware of
HMG looks a little odd but probably fine once i actually see the model. the only thing that i actually don't like is the Javelin looking missile launcher, its just an aesthetics thing i don't care for it. but i do like doctor/medic man Spoiler: Picture this is the best pic i've got but the Volunteer para does have his own satchel so the Kazak could be that or the doc, we'll find our soon (didn't want to take up a page with the picture)
I'll be honest, I think Paramedics are wasted sculpts, Coldfront already has 3 potential Paramedic sculpts for each side so I don't see the point in any more. I'll be using him as a Doktor whatever the box says :)
Same thing for me, also with the HMG american saw. Additionally the hmg has "port" for the belt fed magazine of the BJ I don't know why because the minuteman had already a normal magazine sculpted. The sniper looks almost identical to the grunt sniper. And I dislike the heels on the combat boots, they are fine in cyber armour ninjas but in combat boots they look bad. Overall I don't like them and I will not buy them they don't look like line kazaks to me. I don't know what happens with CB and the struggle to make convincing ariadna weapons ...
I was talking about the bottom part with the piece to fit the ammo belt in the black jack version. Is not that bad you can sand it off but I hoped for somthing a bit more kazak. At least it's easier to fix compared to the displaced tank hunter magazine box.
That's the regular HMG, the Minimi/M249 style foregrip denotes an APHMG. The Tankhunter is actually armed with the wrong weapon (likely due to age). EDIT: though it would have been nice to see them modify it to feed from the right Russia-style like the Vet Kazak.
Yes I'm aware of it, and if you look closer you will see how that hmg has the magazine forward to leave space to the shoulder, it can also be seen in the grunt hmg, or with the scout sniper for an example with a different weapon. And to be fair I prefer the non AP design for the kazaks, ok TAK and USARF are in the same boat and can share weapons but TAK is the leading military force and something is visually off when you look at kazaks with javelins and saw machineguns. The same way the minuteman with the american AP HMG fit like a glove.
It predates the design for the APHMG though, it was released when I was living in the UK so it'll be getting on for 3 years old at least now.
Bostria has said a couple of things in a recent podcast: The ratniks are the base for the blackjacks, ratniks being the original ones and blackjacks being a cheap version. (I don't know how to fit this with the already known darpa / buffalo lore) Even if usarf seems to have some modern industry tak is far more industrialized and advanced (we already knew this, I hope this emphasis and the abundance of engineers means new tech toys for TAK)
You know ... I almost lost all hope but now i don't know if we are going to have a tag but TAK seems to have something else, USARF got the blackjacks as a final punch for the sectorial, TAK should have some surprises left to be seen. I want to believe.
