Seconded. @Koni or @HellLois, any chance we get an official statement?

Squalo has GL, GL is horrible for gaming experience, since CB doesn't want to change bad non-interactive gameplay elements such as GL and GML, I will just be happy there is one less GL in the game. Remove Squalo MK1 please.

Great idea! How about we also remove every other GL model from the game? Who needs 'em? Trash them all!

    ...everyone got the sarcasm.

Edit: Besides, are you really advocating that because one loadout has one weapon you personally don't like, the whole profile including all other loadouts should be scrapped from the game? Smart.

I thought obvious troll is obvious :-D
I homewer really don't care about keeping Squalo MK1 in the game, I am all for updating desings and removing old stuff from the game to make room for new stuff if we are taking about 1 unit per faction per year. I hoped Lizard would be removed once we got Stigmata in Nomads, I would totally be okay with that ( maybe because Lizard has GL, hmm :-D )

Invalidating profiles for a model that is as common as the Squalo Mk1 is not good.

Please keep the Squalo Mk 1 profiles, and I say this as a non-Pan O player even!

My thanks to you, but all your activity here gives me not less enthusiasm.
I really want profile to stay. For me it is lovely and iconic machine.

I'd also like to keep my Squalo, I have all the other PanO TAGs, no need for a proxy.

One last bump before I take a very long break from these forums.

To anyone at Corvus Belli who may be reading: please keep the Mk1 Squalo profile. I would love to see it alongside the Mk2 profile even if it’s only kept in sectorial armies. As has been said ad nauseum in this thread, the Mk1 profile has many different applications than its Mk2 counterpart especially in Varuna. The Mk1 is also a useful tool in vanilla and Neoterra (though I prefer the Uhlans there). I am very much looking forwards to seeing the Mk2 Squalo miniature but I state once again and as loudly as I possibly can: Keep the Squalo Mk1 profile!!!

I will be sending an email to the appropriate Corvus Belli address regarding this issue and will be listing in detail the reasons for keeping the Mk1 Squalo profile.

To the rest of this thread: please do keep up the support for one of our favourite TAG profiles!

Please, let us keep profile of MK1 safe forever.

Not sure if this thread matters, but I agree that removing a model from the game that was sold for years is definitly not a good idea, especially one that is as expensive as this one (unless you transforme it into something else like father knight => knight of justice; Haramaki => tanko ...).

And I don't get how it could help sell more models since the new squalo mk2 is of a different size. It's not like people can use the new to proxy the old or vice versa ...

It would make much more sens to removce ... let say the tikbalang from MO (a model wich is not sold) and give AP ammunition to the Seraph (a model still for sale) for exemple :-D

Since I am some nostalgic romantic I would defenetly prefer not to lose the original TAG, the most vanilla of all the vanillas, the Mk. 1 Squalo.
Since one of the first pictures i ever saw from infinity was an old N2 photos with the classic Squalo modell this thing was always the first modell that came to my mind when someone mentioned TAGs.
So I maybe are not willing to die on that hill like some others, but I gladly stand by, holding my little flag next to me and wave upwards at @Gwynbleidd .

I want to keep my big Squalo Mk1. Who else is going to show the new kid on the block how to lob grenades with style?

There is zero reason to invalidate this profile. I'm not a forumite naysayer, but if they do, that'll be a dumb decision.

Release of new Squalo mk2 is near, and yet we have no official answer about our worries for Squalo mk1.
(Except the one, where we were told, that “at least until release of mk2”.)
I don’t like it. But I hope, we are still ready to post here.
    How are you today, mk1-supporters?
