Emily can FO out to 48" on a 14 base with the X-visor. She doesn't need anyone to mark targets for her. Granted it's not as easy as when she is in a link, but it still makes her a great long range FO.

Hawwa sniper nails their 0 ARM Lt. out of cover and he makes the roll fml. Really loving her though. Brigada MULTI being towed by the Anaconda is really tearing it up. Morlock swarm didn't make it to the DZ largely because of it but a Lizard blasted it. Only lost him and the Hardcase on turn 1 against a TAG and WB so I guess the defense worked. edit: in this case being linked only increased the danger to the TAG (I rolled a hard to beat 11 and got crit) but a lot of games it would reduce who they could safely use to kill him.
By the way what Hardcase version do you use? I`ve got Hardcase body bits without head and arms and don`t want to make bow. So I was wandering what weapon should I sculpt, LSG or Rifle?
LSG is my go-to for now but two games isn't enough to know. Suppression fire and better range is good but so is +6 BS and a template.
I'm buying a Hunzakut LGL for this purpose. Really nice mini, it'll make a good Hunzakut in Druze as well.
I'm leaning toward the Kazak Intel Spec Op as my Hardcase. Not all Americans love the cowboy shtick. The Desperados make me throw up in my mouth a little every time I see them.
Being a consolidated Nomads and Yu-Jing player I think my top three teams are still on these two factions. But each time I try a StarCo list or look at the choices I like them a bit more. I see them as a more interesting and flexible alternative to Corregidor, so... they're not in my top 3. Yet.
Facing TAGs every game think I'll try out linked Emily and taking a Hawwa FO. Edit: Maybe try Bandit FO to inferior infiltrate.
The other option is the e/mauler bandits - use them to camp the TAG's probable line of approach, drop their packages and then engage the TAG in CC - great way to tie them down.
