So, in StarCo we got a chain of command bloke in Emily, but is it necessary? What are our Lt options? Starco. Free Company of the Star ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 1 BRAWLER Lieutenant Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 16) 0 SWC | 16 Points Open in Infinity Army Starco. Free Company of the Star ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 1 ALGUACIL Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (1 | 10) 1 SWC | 10 Points Open in Infinity Army Starco. Free Company of the Star ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 2 MOBILE BRIGADA Lieutenant Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 33) MOBILE BRIGADA Lieutenant MULTI Rifle + Light Flamethrower / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 39) 0 SWC | 72 Points Open in Infinity Army The only option that seems to want to abuse the LT order is the Mobile Brigada. I don't really think doing that is better than having a lone brawler or Alqualcile sit back, though. What are you guys ideas?
That Emily CoC gets picked because of her E/M grenade launcher... link that with 4 riots, abuse the X-Visor and release the kraken!
Because without riots, the only link option is with Uahu, so there is no mistake with what links with what, I think.
Good range: 20-40cm (8-16 inches, I think) you have BS13+3(range+3(link)-6(speculative) = 13 => 65% hit. However, you can risk at 10 (range mod +0) up to 60cm, which is about 24 inches... If the target is in the Targeted state, then you roll at 13 (65%) up to 24 inches... or at 16 up to 16!! Edit: ranges corrected
Conversely, I feel like playing Onyx gives you plenty of experience "living dangerously" with your Lt. So this shouldn't be that bad.
The Brawler is the no brainer here. Otherwise you have to invest 1 SWC or at least 17 points to get +1 WIP for your Lt. roll. Since one can use the MB Lt. in a quite decent Fireteam the Alguacile Lt. would be my least favourite choice
With Emily CoC you could play a solo rambo Mobile Brigada LT to make use of the LT order, but at 33/39 points that's quite a hefty investment for a piece that you basically throw at the lions hoping it trades well. With the Multi Rifle Loadout you could use the LT order to put it Supression Fire as well. I'm a bit at a loss here because the alternatives seem both like a waste of the LT order...
The Brigada needs to be supported by a Jaguar who clears out the avenue of approach in tandem with the MS2 Brawler. Then the LFT shines and the Brigada can entrench by going into SF eot. Well, that´s my plan atm.
